We came to SA for Gather Round with our grown up kids and our 4 legged friends, the location was perfect, the house was well equipped and clean, loved the beach and the front deck, great food and of course wine options are endless , we caught the train into Adelaide for the footy it was so convenient and easy, we would stay again for sure.

A beautiful space that our family enjoyed, particularly sitting under the beautiful fig tree. Couldn’t rate Simone’s home higher!

Plenty of space in this house - large bedrooms and tv in main room. Missed not having electric blankets or a dishwasher but the house stay warm enough with the heater in the ceiling of the main room. Interesting how both the main bathroom and ensuite were at the same end of the house. A secure backyard if we had taken our dogs with us. No beach view but lovely to see/hear a variety of birds.

Perfect location for a family getaway. Everything we needed and more, and walking distance to town and beach. Exactly what we hoped for. We look forward to returning.

Nice little getaway if you’re looking for somewhere quiet (as we were!). Some beautiful empty beaches just a short stroll away and barely saw another person at any of them, which was great for our dogs and kids to explore. Really close to Penneshaw too, so a great spot to use as a base for day trips around the island. House isn’t the fanciest with all the mod cons, but it’s emblematic of the quiet little seaside town and what we were looking for.

Thank you Sara for a wonderful stay. We loved the neighbourhood and being able to walk to the beach/coffee/woolies/parks. Being in Adelaide for a sporting event we were out most of the day but it was lovely to come home to a homely home with everything that we needed. Thank you for having us.

We absolutely loved our stay! It had all the space we needed and it was clean and private. Beds were very comfy, kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed and the welcome platter was so lovely and much appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks Ange!

Quiet and great location. Private pool was a hit with the kids and games room. Close to shopping centre and restaraunts. House clean and very welcoming.

We had another lovely stay at Katrina’s house. The house is in a perfect location, a short stroll to a stunning beach, restaurants, cafes and the local bakery. The house has everything you need, great sized pool, pool toys, beach towels, board games and a really well stocked kitchen.

Nice house with a number of bed rooms, full size kitchen which is only minutes from the beach or wine region. Very easy to find and the check in/ check out instructions were easy to follow.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Amanda went above and beyond and was extremely responsive. The place was lovely. Everything as described and kitchen was very well stocked with all necessary utensils, appliances etc. The pool was great and we all had a wonderful time. Lots of yummy food options nearby. Hope to stay again soon. Thank you!

I would like to say thank you to Nick & Nicola the level of detail in messages and emails prior to us arriving with all the information you could possibly need was very very helpful, the house its self is beautiful & would love to stay again.

We stayed over Easter and had a fantastic time. The house was perfect — spacious, with plenty of bedrooms and a big kitchen that made it easy to host the rest of the basketball team for lunch. The boys had a blast playing on the tennis court and swimming in the pool. The location was excellent — close to public transport and the beach, which made everything really convenient. David was a great host: friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place — we had a great time and would happily stay again.

My teenage son and I were in Adelaide for the AFL’s annual Gather Round and spent 3 terrific nights there. Meerlust is a quintessential Airbnb, set in a quiet location with panoramic views. The guest house was immaculately clean, well presented, and well equipped. And the beds were super comfortable! Victoria and Sean are attentive, affable hosts, and communication was always clear, concise and timely. The only downside to our trip is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Amazing Air BnB, Tessa's place was a beautiful location one street back from the beach. The place itself was neat, tidy and felt homely with good amenities. Kids loved the toys and ping pong table that was on offer. Location was great with so many places within minutes of visiting and Tessa was also really helpful with recommending some good local spots to see. I would definitely stay here again, it would have to be one of the most value for money places I have stayed at on Air BnB.

We loved our stay, once again everything was perfect. We used the BBQ and cooked in the kitchen both were adequate and worked well. Local fish and chips was great. Our dog loved the garden as did we, spending time sitting in the sun. The beach was invigorating. All in all our stay was wonderful, it was to celebrate 🍾 our birthdays, which we did with great enjoyment. Would recommend "The Shack" 100% it was everything we wanted.

We had a fabulous Easter break at The Deck, enough room for everyone for a lovely Family Lunch. Gorgeous coffees on the deck surrounded by the trees and birds after our morning beach walk was a daily highlight. High quality linen and super comfortable beds and furnishings. A really well appointed holiday house. Would highly recommend

What a perfect place to escape and spend some time with the family. Beautiful place with everything you need. Want to get the kids off their devices? Spend a few days playing tennis, basketball, pool and table tennis; a sporting precinct under the one roof! The house was spotless and so comfortable. We felt instantly at peace and excited to dive into the fun. It has everything you need and more. We will be back!

A neat and tidy little getaway with beautiful scenery and surroundings. It is close to everything but is secluded enough to feel like you’ve escaped the hustle and bustle of life for a while. Great stay!

Simply one of the best AirBnB experiences we have had. Mat's communication was timely and friendly with clear instructions on gaining access to the property and the checkout routine. The property itself was exactly as described and it was spotlessly clean with all the amenities promised. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped and there were plenty of towels. All appliances were clean and modern. Mat was an excellent host and had left a basket of goodies as a welcome which were greatly appreciated and incredibly generous. The area around the house was very peaceful and were a short walk to beaches and restaurants. While we didn't spend much time in the local area we would certainly do so if returning. It was only a short trip to the city and McLaren Vale was also close. The whole family loved this stay and we would highly recommend Mat's Christie Beach house for quality and value.

Staying at Brett's seaside home was an absolute pleasure for my family and I. Perfectly located less than a five minute easy stroll from Boomer Beach, this perfect pocket rocket of a home had everything we needed and more. Large and secure garden for our curious dog, plenty of outdoor space for a quiet read and glass of red, comfortable living room and bedrooms for relaxing and a good night's sleep and a kitchen that delivers the goods. Quiet, private and secluded we all felt safe and sound and connected to the sounds of the rolling ocean just metres away. As a host Brett was outstanding a gracious, from the bottle of local red to the extra long checkout he allowed, our Easter was really very special.

Thank you so much Dianne for hosting myself & kids.We felt immediately welcome. I have stayed at a fair few air bnbs & this is by far the most comfortable & well equipped. We appreciated the basket of goodies, assorted coffees, teas &milks. Also the amazing condiments that Chris makes were great & we purchased a few jars to take home. The bathroom/kitchenette was a great size and well equipped with everything you would need for a short/ long stay. Beds were comfortable& air con refreshing for the warm weather we have been having. We loved the dogs who were super friendly & seeing the horses also made the stay complete. We loved the peaceful surroundings even though my toddler was quite noisy!! There are toys for the younger kids ,books for kids & adults,board games & a range of things to watch on the large tv. Its pet friendly and close to Hahndorf& a short drive to Adelaide city. Di & Chris are the most accommodating hosts! You will not be disappointed staying here! Thank you !!
