This was an especially cozy place, wonderful to relax. The hosts were especially personable. If we had had more time or were to come back to the area, we would stay longer!

We were warmly welcomed by Jackie on arrival to the airbnb and made to feel right at home & at ease. The airbnb was gorgeous and such a little haven. We were sad to only be staying one night!!! Would highly recommend

Fabulous cottage. Loved staying here. The bed was super comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well presented. It was all great. Tania was very helpful and friendly.

David is a super host - check in was super easy. Beautifully kept place, peaceful and private with great views of Lake Tekapo and the stars! 5 stars - recommend highly.

What a fantastic place! From the moment you arrive, the magical experience begins. Soft music plays in the cabin, and you're surrounded by majestic views of the valley and high mountains. Amy and Jason have a remarkable eye for detail. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious meal, and stargazing from the hot tub is an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this place—and without a doubt, we'll be coming back again!

We had such an amazing time in Henry's and Rachel's cottage. The place is very cozy and has a great vibe. Love the fireplace! Would definitely come back 😊

Leanne’s lovely, clean, warm & beautiful home looks so good. Our 2 families enjoyed these 2-night stays. The fashion clean kitchen with full set of kitchenware is very useful. All the rooms are delicate and compact, but still warm & clean. And Twizel is only 40mins to Mountain Cook or Tekapo Lake, very convenient as well. We recommend you (a small group) to visit Leanne’s great home.

I had a great weekend here with my two young kids and dog. It is a beautiful location with a stunning garden. It is relatively close to Oamaru and surrounds, which makes it a great base. A fantastic stay.

A wonderful location for a 5 night stay with one of our daughters and our two dogs. We all loved this holiday house. Thank you so much for hosting us (and our dogs loved the treats you left for them)!

What an awesome spot just beautiful and a good base for traveling around the Mackenzie basin. Great amenities and well set up for families.

Such an awesome spot. Had our own private cottage behind the shops with parking. The fridge was stocked with a few breakfast items and they even brought us bread for the morning for toast. There’s a little coffee cart in front with the shops so we were able to grab a cup before heading to check out Lake Tekapo and the observatory. We were greeted by Chickie, a solo chicken who was very friendly and we were also told there were alpacas on the property, but didn’t see any due to the weather probably. Definitely a unique and interest spot to check out, but still nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Sandra has gone above and beyond to make you feel at home in her carefully curated space. Anything and everything has been thought of and the attention to detail is impressive. The space is peaceful and perfect to unwind even over a gloomy Easter weekend! Highly recommend to anyone needing a wee gateway to Lake Tekapo and surrounds.

Fabulous location. Beautiful walk along the lake to the Church and township. We loved being able to light a fire after watching the stars on a clear, cool night.

love this place so much!! it was spotless and looks everything like you see in the pictures. Charlotte and Chad even provided fresh farm milk on arrival in the fridge that was delicious. we will be back :)

I felt blessed in finding this place. It was cozy, great for gazing the stars at night, we all slept peacefully, and it had everything we needed. Appreciated the butterflies in the yard.

This is a lovely place just outside Middlemarch. We stayed during our rail trail ride and it was a lovely place to relax and rejuvenate. The kids loved the board games and roasting marshmallows on the fire. Anna was a wonderful host, accommodating us last minute. Highly recommended.
