Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Wairarapa

We enjoyed having a private cottage in a real residential neighbourhood, yet only 15 minutes walk to town centre. The property was well-enough equipped for a self catering stay (weather not quite good enough to use the bbq and shared terrace). Comfortable beds and lounge area completed what we needed for our stay. WiFi was a bit slow and apt to cut out but it was only a small distraction when curled up for an evening with TV. All in all, homely and good value.

A character-filled self-contained flat on Oriental Parade. An excellent location, comfortable bed, great views. Definitely recommended!

Great spot, place and host! Would absolutely stay again

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Renee’s place! Super accessible (especially to my favourite yoga studio on Cuba street!) The place was also extremely tidy and clean, Renee as a host was also very accommodating and easy to reach. The place had everything I needed for a longer-term stay. Quiet spot despite the centrality of the location! Thanks a lot Renee, will certainly be back!

Friendly hosts, close to the beach, spacious place, hot tub (!) and two cuties (dog and cat) welcoming us upon arrival. We were unlucky with the weather, but the hot tub made even the rainy evenings enjoyable. We will definitely come back!

I highly recommend Sally's place, the Griffin Inn, to anyone wishing to stay in tranquil surroundings in the Porirua area. It's on the north side of beautiful Tītahi Bay, with an amazing clifftop walk just up the hill for you and / or your dogs. It's a short walk to the beach itself. Sally place is a separate small house set beside the family home, and despite the name is not an inn as such but rather a dedication to her mum and the family name. It is immaculate, cozy, well presented, tucked away in a sheltered little oasis and has a nice covered outside area for relaxing. Sally is a wonderful, friendly and open-hearted host and she made us feel very welcome indeed (myself and my dogs). If Sally is not onsite her daughter Kim will look after you to the same standard, and her son Dave might even look after your dogs if you need (he runs a doggy daycare business). Highly recommended for singles, couples, small families and people with pooches. Would stay again for sure.

Plimmerton and the Punga hideaway is the perfect spot for a weekend away, its a great wee spot and we would be more than happy to stay again if we are back again some day, excellent place and hosts.

Great central location, nice big room and helpful host. We would happily stay here again.

The Whitehouse is a lovely cosy & comfortable home with plenty of room for a family to relax in, with a lovely outdoor deck area to enjoy looking out from over the beautiful countryside after a day out exploring the Wairarapa

We stayed here with 12 friends for my husband’s 30th, and it was absolutely perfect. He loves native bush and birds, so this place was a dream. The house feels like a fairytale—spacious, warm, and beautifully designed. The kitchen is well-equipped and flows easily to the patio, where we barbecued and dined outdoors. There’s a handy kitchen window for passing food outside, and both indoor and outdoor tables made it easy to adapt to the weather. The property sits on 7 acres of native bush with walking tracks, birds like piwakawakas following us, and a magical glow worm walk at night. There's an outdoor fire area with couches, ambient lighting, and a speaker system that connects throughout the house and outside. It’s perfect for reconnecting with friends and nature. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and so grateful. Huge thanks to the hosts for the clear communication and thoughtful touches. If you're thinking of booking—do it. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful area and house looked like the pictures!

Probably the best Airbnb I've stayed at. The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood that was very close to the main town. I absolutely loved the aesthetic of the entire house. There are plenty of amenities plus a view goodies that really brighten up our day. Thanks again, Tana would love to visit again.

Lovely place in a quiet and secure location, convenience stores and amenities close by. The house is large, well kept with a large garden. We all had a very nice time.

Home away from home. Stay here was perfect. House had everything you need and felt just like home. The outdoor area was amazing. Great location and an easy walk into town. Close to everything needed.

The house was perfect and Glenn was a super host. The house is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Glenn was super helpful and let us leave our car there before check in time as well as offering the use of the facilities prior to check in so we could do a vineyard tour. Wish we could have stayed longer
