The location was perfect, especially being so close to our whānau whare, which made our stay even more meaningful. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the cosy layout to the immaculate presentation. The hosts were incredible – welcoming, kind, and genuinely caring. Their message after our stay made us feel so appreciated, and it’s clear they put their hearts into what they do. Bummer we didn’t get to use the pool this time, but we’ll definitely be back for another stay! If you're looking for a place that feels like a true home away from home, surrounded by beauty and manaakitanga, this is it. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful and uplifting getaway. I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and tidy, and the swimming pool was well-kept. The location is great for activities like cycling and fishing. The only issue was the door code didn’t work initially, but Airbnb provided a new one promptly.

Kelvin was a super host. One day the lockbox jammed. It was no problem as we had access the spare keys but even still, Kelvin immeditaely he replaced it! He also showed us around the amazing property like a real gentleman. Thanks Kelvin. It was peaceful, had everything we needed and is a very special property. I hope we can return in summer to experience the beautiful, naturally plant filtered swimming pool.

Staying at Georgia’s place was an absolute dream! Designed by the renowned Fritz Eisenhofer and his wife Helen, this curvaceous, dome-like home is an architectural masterpiece. It felt like living in a jewel box, where every detail radiates artistic sophistication and warmth. The luxurious decor and flowing spaces create an inviting and serene atmosphere. Pictures don’t do justice—you must experience this remarkable home to truly appreciate its beauty. Georgia is an exceptional host—kind, thoughtful, and beyond generous. Her excellent communication and the thoughtful koha (gifts) made us feel so welcome. The location is magical, with the beach just steps away and a lush pathway surrounded by vibrant plants and fauna. The greenery inside and outside added to the serene and tranquil vibe. The amenities are incredible: a stunning indoor pool, relaxing hot tub, kayaks, paddleboards, ping pong, air hockey, and more. Thank you, Georgia and family, for sharing your remarkable home with us.

It was a great place to meet up with family from Wellington. We all enjoyed the space, and everything we needed was there.

A lovely property for our whole family with plenty of space and activities to keep everyone happy. We’ll definitely be back - it was well worth the cost and the owners/carers are helpful and friendly. A great location in both sunny and wet weather conditions.

My sisters, our partners and children stayed at this lovely spacious home together over Easter weekend. We were stoked with the open plan living area and huge outdoor space where we were able to create the best Easter egg hunt for the kiddies. We spent hours in the pool and hot tub and were able to put a movie on for the kids in the lounge while we watched TV and played games in the dining area. There were 5 spacious double bedrooms and a spa bath. A quick drive to Greytown, this was the perfect holiday retreat. Thank you!

Fantastic location right on the beach. Very private. Perfect house for a girls weekend away. Walking distance to cute shops. Couple great cafes we used over the two days. House comfortable. Definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the fire on crispy evenings. The house was beautifully presented and so well equipped for cooking and relaxing. The attention to detail in so many aspects really stood out for us.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super comfortable, with everything we needed provided. The location is unbeatable—right across the road from the beach. We especially loved the upstairs area with its stunning sunset and sea views. The beds were very comfy too.

This house was excellent for our extended family gathering – the kids loved the table tennis room, the oldies loved the view, and we all loved the direct access to the beach. Staying at Chris’s Airbnb was a truly wonderful experience. The home was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at ease. Every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming — it was clear a lot of care had gone into making the space feel like a home away from home. But what made the stay truly memorable was Chris himself. From the beginning, his communication was warm, clear, and prompt. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. You can really tell when someone loves being a host — and Chris absolutely does. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re considering booking — do it. Such an amazing property which was a great location for us to visit friends. Stunning views, comfortable beds and loads of space. Very well suited for two couples or a small family. Ample space in bedrooms for a byo travel cot. Rooms were a little cooler than the main house but only noticed as we had a young baby. Kitchen well stocked with utensils.

Enjoyed our stay here, with the most amazing view - the place and Lucy were very accommodating to my family and had all amenities needed. Everyone loved this house and didn’t want to leave. Lucy went above and beyond for us and responded straight away and made our stay even more special☺️ Would for sure recommend this place and rebook whenever we’re back in Wellington! A magical spot! Beautiful views, easy access to the beach and walking tracks. Great local Restaurant! Loved the bikes and the kids loved the huge fenced soccer field! The bach had everything we needed!

My family and I had a lovely 2-night stay at Lis's property - it was peaceful and very clean, exactly like the photos. Kitchen was fully stacked with all the pots, pans, plates and cups you needed plus other kitchen appliances. Lis was very communicative and check in was easy. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Otaki area. Plus, the little treat she left us was delicious! Thank you so much Lis x
