The Black Swan houseboat is truly a special place to stay. Leonora and Erwin have thought of every detail, and the space makes you feel instantly at home. If you are looking for a special place to relax with friends or family, you need to consider a stay at the Black Swan. We would certainly return without hesitation.

We had a great time in Leeuwarden. The houseboat was ideal for us as we were there primarily for fishing. We were able to fish right outside the front door and there were some good spots in the immediate vicinity.

We had a lovely time on the houseboat. Amid the birds, it's very well laid out. The road is not far but you can't hear it inside and the view of Kampen is very pretty. It's easy to walk to town. We did not meet Raoul but the organization of the arrival and departure was very smooth. We recommend it.

This houseboat is wonderful and the perfect chilled get away just outside the city centre. Hosts were great with communication and the houseboat was better than we could’ve imagined. Great location with every type of public transport right on your doorstep or if the weather permits a nice walk back into town. 100% would recommend!

The boat house was the idyllic haven to return to at the end of a busy day in the city. We had a fantastic family break and the added additions of the bikes and boat were a bonus. Also managed to try the local restaurants. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

More than we wished for!!! Great communication, really helpful and Karina’s Boathouse is truly fantastic, the boathouse is finished with little personal touches and is in a wonderful location - only a few minutes from the city centre but quiet and tranquil. We feel lucky to have stayed over Kingsday and couldn’t have asked for more! Currently working out dates for another visit… If you are considering booking - stop thinking and do it, you will not regret it!

Absolutely awesome houseboat. Super-beautifully decorated - very modern - equipped with everything you need. It was sparkling clean and cozy. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed life on the houseboat very much (a great experience). The boat includes a SUP, which we tried despite the season. In and around the boat is very quiet and yet you are almost in the middle of it - it is only a few meters to the actual place. Really great: the supermarket is right across the street. Anita and Diedert are great and very attentive hosts, whom we did not meet in person, but the communication with them went very well. We would love to come again.

A great, modern and high-quality furnished accommodation. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!!

There were four of us in the beautiful houseboat and we enjoyed the time very much. There is everything you need for a short stay on the boat. It is modernly decorated and you feel very comfortable. It is a very calm environment. Of course, it swings something in the wind - but that should be clear if you go on a boat:) Shops are very close.

We had a lovely extended weekend on the houseboat! The location was fantastic – quiet, right on the water, with beautiful views. The boat was very clean, well equipped and cozily furnished, with everything you need. We especially liked the small terrace, perfect for breakfast or the evening. An absolute recommendation for those who want to experience something different and relax! I'm sure we'll be back.

The stay with Frauke and Thomas was super nice and very special! The impeccable and unproblematic communication with Patrick was also great, we were even able to rent the boat spontaneously. An unforgettable weekend, highly recommended and happy to come back!

Our stay at Claire’s place was nothing short of magical. The location is hard to beat in the heart of Jordaan, steps away from great Dutch cafes, every restaurant we ate at was within a ten minute walk, every one was fantastic. As well as minutes walk from transit. Somehow though being in the middle of everything, being on the water in this houseboat makes you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Claire has great taste, her home is designed impeccably, with one of the major highlights being the record player, listening to classics like the Beatles, Bowie, The Doors while sitting on the back porch taking in the incredible view of the canal. Bonus was the most efficient washer dryer I used during my 3 week stay in Europe and the large dishwasher. Had we stayed longer, we would have cooked, there was a fully stocked Chefs kitchen. Thanks for the perfect end to our adventure!

We really enjoyed our one night stay. The accommodation is charming, original and easy to access. We easily found a good restaurant and Aalsmeer is a very nice place. We enjoyed the welcome booklet prepared by Anne who was very responsive and available. The accommodation was clean and functional. We were welcomed and had a very nice stay! It was a great experience sleeping on the water. To be repeated!

As a small family, we had a wonderful short vacation on the houseboat. Everything you needed was available. There are many possibilities to do something and that we were already allowed to use the rowboat was an absolute highlight. If we had a question, we always got an answer super fast. A very nice family, great boat. We'd come back any time.

This boat was such a treat, beautifully presented, spacious, gorgeous views amongst other boats, easy walking around central Amsterdam. The facilities within the boat were top notch, stylish upstairs living space, extremely comfortable beds, lovely bathroom (with the bonus of an upstairs toilet too). If we were there in warmer weather we would have spent more time just hanging out on the deck. Heartily recommend.

There were four of us as guests and we had a wonderful time! Even the arrival was very straightforward, the communication in advance was easy and pleasant. The accommodation was exactly as described – very clean, modern and lovingly furnished, so we felt comfortable from the first moment. Everything was really thought of: The kitchen was well equipped, the beds very comfortable and also small details such as towels, toiletries and a small selection of coffee and tea made our stay particularly pleasant. The location was also perfect – quiet, yet central, so we could quickly reach many excursion destinations and restaurants. We enjoyed the time very much and can absolutely recommend the place. We had a short but great and relaxing break here. The houseboat was something completely different. It has many nice outdoor spaces to relax, SUPs and boats to use. The city center was within walking distance and yet it was quite quiet on the boat. We will be happy to come back.

We had a fantastic stay on this charming houseboat! Everything was exactly as described and pictured—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The host provided clear and detailed instructions for parking and finding the boat, which made our arrival super easy. One of the highlights for our kids was feeding the ducks right from the deck—they loved it! A truly unique and memorable experience. Highly recommended!
