Villa vacation rentals in Waadhoeke

We stayed for four nights in the beautiful vacation house in Menaam. The place is a small private camping ground with two vacation homes (and also place for campers and tents), and was very quiet and peaceful. The house was beautiful and lovely designed amd very clean. As a family of five, our oldest slept in the living room, and the space was enough. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location is very good - a close by natural park with water activities, and about 50 minutes drive from Lauwersoog port and Den Helder. There is also a public outside pool close by, and sunset running is very nice(: The owner was on vacation but was very responsive and friendly and had a very friendly couple in charge in is absence. The place is part of a net of hosts which seems also very serviceable. We enjoyed very much and highly recommend!

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

Super gîte bien équipé, moderne, literie très confortable. Extérieur magnifique avec vue sur la nature, les animaux, les canux....interlocuteur reactif et compréhensif. Nous reviendrons.

Die Unterkunft ist unglaublich charmant und urig – perfekt für einen entspannten Urlaub mit einer größeren Gruppe. Das Haus war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet mit seinem schönen Garten einen tollen Ort zum Verweilen und Zusammensitzen. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar, sodass wir uns rundum gut betreut gefühlt haben. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Bei unserer Ankunft zeigte sich eine Nachbarin leider etwas genervt von unserer Anwesenheit und sprach uns wegen der Geräuschkulisse an – obwohl es sich lediglich um normale Gespräche von zwölf Personen beim Abendessen am Freitagnachmittag im Garten handelte. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt nicht negativ beeinflusst, sollte aber bei der Planung bedacht werden. Insgesamt waren wir mehr als zufrieden und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen!

We rented the house as a group of 16 persons. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is beautiful and perfect for a vacation with friends.

Heerlijk verblijf. Prachtige, complete woning die van alle gemakken is voorzien. Mooi, rustig gelegen en toch zijn alle voorzieningen in de nabijheid.

Een heel fijn verblijf gehad! Een mooie ruime woning aan het water. Alle voorzieningen waren top! Zeker een verblijf waar wij vaker terug zouden komen.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Jeroen empfangen und er hat uns einige interessante Informationen zum Umbau der Kirche gegeben. Danach hat er sich ausführlich Zeit genommen, um uns alle Funktionen in der Küche / Sauna, etc. zu zeigen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Kirche. Es war sehr sauber, gepflegt und es hat nichts an Ausstattung gefehlt.

Fijn verblijf. Goed contact met de verhuurder. Heeft fijne contacten in Grou en omgeving. Faciliteiten waren goed. Prima kamers en bedden, fijne grote zitruimtes, goed uitgeruste keuken. Algemene hygiëne kon beter; oppervlaktes waren stoffig en de vloeren een beetje zanderig. Zeker een aanrader voor vriendenweekenden, familieweekenden etc.

Heel leuk huisje en een mooie prijs voor wat je krijgt. Leuke omgeving. Zeker de moeite waard!
