This village was founded around 1920 around "Building A" in which the long wave transmitter stood for the radio telephone connection to what was then the Dutch East Indies. And later for all intercontinental telephone connections, TOR (telephone over radio). Later connections with ships. Became unnecessary after satellite. About 100 people live here, and there are no stores. In short, a place for hikers, cyclists and peace seekers.

National Parks Veluwezoom and Hoge Veluwe are within cycling distance, and the city of Arnhem is 10 minutes away by car or public transport. Ideal for recreation or business travelers. . Privacy and hospitality are key words for us. You will have a light living room, a complete kitchen and bathroom, a bedroom, two more beds in a small loft, a veranda and a small yard. B&B Wellness "De Bourgondische Lelie"

Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Feel welcome! Behind our house is De Schuur, a romantic, cozy and unique guest house, equipped with every comfort so that you can relax and enjoy yourself. Enjoy the Jacuzzi and sauna on the veranda. There is a gas BBQ and a lovely outdoor fireplace. (BBQ and outdoor fireplace for a fee) The bakery with fresh rolls is within walking distance. Sypesteyn Castle is across the road. Amsterdam and Utrecht +/-20 min.
