In summer, it is an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours (several reservoirs and swimming lakes nearby) and in winter due to the altitude (one of the highest places in the Vogtland) snow-sure access to the Kammloipe (trail behind the house in the forest)...

Do you want to experience a sky full of stars above your head in the smallest historical town in the world in terms of population, in the "Manětín Dark Sky Area"? Then you've come to the right place. A sky full of stars and the magical surroundings of Rabštejn is an experience you must see. Breakfast with a view of the surroundings (offer for an extra fee) and a bottle of wine from 2 or more nights as a courtesy of our Rabštejn wine cellar, will enhance your experience. In the cold months, electric heating is available in the tent (on request and for an additional fee).

A sensitively reconstructed attic overlooking nature and a hot tub on the terrace (for an additional fee) and a home cinema. We'd love to lend you our place. The entire space, including the terrace, will be available to you. We will help you plan a trip and discover the beauty of the Ore Mountains. We take care of our place with love and care. Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.
