Gostei de tudo em geral! Uma casa rústica mas com um interior moderno, sítio calmo para passar um fim de semana em família e aproveitar para descansar! Muito bem recebidos e sempre com bastante disponibilidade.

A casa ainda é melhor do que parece nas fotos e na descrição. Grande e confortavel, com tudo o que pode ser necessario. O espaço exterior é otimo, eramos 10 pessoas e havia espaços para todos, o deck tem vistas maravilhosos onde passamos as tardes e espaço para os miudos brincarem e jogarem à bola. As camas eram confortaveis e como eram no piso superior permitam ter uma separação do barulho no piso inferior. O Carlos esteve sempre disponível, foi um otimo anfitrião, com respostas rapidas e sempre disponível. é um sitio a voltar em grupo.

Jeff's place is something you rarely find on Airbnb, it is a really beautiful property located in a protected, surrounded by nature and a river, silent valley. It is fully furnished, equipped with everything you may need or expect, perfectly cleaned, and very spacious. The kitchens (both in the main house and in the pool house) are basically professionals ones, with bbqs, smokers, all existing (high quality) kitchen utensils. Absolutely everything. The warm pool is stunning too and we used it in November! Before leaving after our 4 days we were looking at each other eyes, still surprised by the beauty and quality of the place. I could go on sharing all the great things we noticed, experienced and lived for much longer;) Congrats Jeff, you are really a fantastic host! Congrats Jeff, you are really a fantastic host!

We had a wonderful stay! It was clear that the hosts truly love their home, and this made our experience even more special. They welcomed us warmly, gave us a detailed tour, and shared so many interesting stories about the house. The home itself was beautiful, clean, and cozy, and the surrounding area was fascinating to explore. It’s so rare to find a place where you can feel the care and attention the owners have put into it. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend staying here!

We had traveled by car from Lisbon to Porto and wanted to stay closer to the airport on our last night before our flight in the morning. Carlos’s place is a gem, with incredible history. Charming setting among the treeline and a nearby church with occasional bell ring to add to is serene feel. The place looks like a castle but with all the modern fixtures and remodel on the inside. Truly best remodel I’ve seen. It has plenty of space for 8 of us and it seems that we only explored half the place. Spacious rooms with all the an accommodations you can think of. The animals were an extra bonus for the kids, (ducks, goats, chickens, peacocks, turkey, and Boris the dog our fav) Recommended shopping center nearby, (biggest one we’ve been to in Portugal. Like Walmart) has everything one may need. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. Already making plans to return again. Thank you Carlos and Luis for an amazing stay and for your unrivaled hospitality.

We booked for 8 people and had the entire villa, but there were only 3 bedrooms in the main villa. An additional bedroom with its own kitchen was offered separately. The separate room was amazing, but it would’ve been better if this setup was mentioned in the listing. The property was very clean and exceeded expectations. Carlos, our host, was helpful and quickly resolved a short circuit and fire alarm issue, even providing extra wood for the fireplace to compensate. On checkout day, the water pipes froze, leaving us without water. Carlos responded quickly, but it delayed our plans as we checked out late. This was inconvenient, and I hope measures are taken to avoid this in winter. Despite these issues, the stay was great, and I would return. Clearer communication in the listing and winter-proofing would make this property perfect!

We loved staying here and would like to again! The house was just as described and within walking distance to local grocery stores and restaurants. I loved waking up to see the beautiful fog roll in over the mountains and a herd of sheep doing their morning grazing. When it rains you can see the river from the balcony and it creates a relaxing sound. We also enjoyed getting cozy in front of the fireplace at night. More than anything, we appreciated António’s mother, who was very sweet and brought us pastries and chocolates. António was very kind and answered any questions we had right away. His father was nice as well! The cleaning service after two weeks was also a lovely touch. This place is a perfect getaway if you are looking to de-stress and be near nature and friendly people. The only thing I will note is if you are coming in winter it can be a bit cold (not surprising-it is winter!) so bring some warmer comfort clothes to wear around the house.

This house is simply delightful! The bedrooms are cozy, the living areas are perfect for relaxing. Nuno is amazing host – so friendly and helpful!
