Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. The Old Church Inn La Farge was built in the 1890’s and served as the community’s Free Methodist Church until the early 2000’s.The property has now been converted to a studio rental. This space includes an open kitchen, dining room and living room area along with 2 full-sized beds and a futon. Conveniently located on main street, you’ll find yourself a short walk from downtown businesses, one mile from Organic Valley’s Headquarters and a little over two miles from the Kickapoo Valley Reserve.

This apartment was added to the back of our detached garage about 5 years ago. Low or no VOC products were used throughout construction. Brand new appliances installed with an oven big enough to cook the biggest turkey I’ve ever dreamed of. Spectacular ridge top views and beautiful starry nights. Hiking and cross country ski trails on the property of about 75 acres. Pick hazelnuts in the fall, collect and boil your own maple sap in the spring and pick blueberries in the summer.

The main floor features a king bed, balcony, small seating area, and fireplace. Reclaimed barn wood walls and large windows create a warm interior highlighting the outdoors.
