Charming simple little cottage, feel free to follow us at Instag*am, where there are more pictures, search @Lille.dalen . The cottage is located individually by the gravel road surrounded by gardens and forest. Here you live easily close to nature. There is no electricity or running water, which allows you to light candles, fire in the stove, shower outside in our outdoor shower, cook over an open fire/wood stove, grill or on the gas kitchen. Charming outhouse is available. A couple of km away there is a municipal pool with dressing room and shower.

A few minutes to the closest lake by foot, nice hiking terrain just outside the door, and of course the climate of the Swedish east coast, sunny and warm. The cozy town Gamleby (= Old village) is 15 minutes away. Gamleby is at the end of Gamleby coastal inlet which leads to Västervik, a city with 21,000 inhabitans, a diverce city with restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can get to Astrid Lindgren’s world in Vimmerby 40 minutes by car.

The house called "Staten" is only 35min from Astrid Lindgrens Värld. It is a house from 1879 but newly renovated. The view from the balcony is fantastic. It is close to small village called Hallingeberg. Living area is approx 100Sqm, bright and spacious. Sauna is available. Deers can frequently be seen in the fields below the balcony, swans fly by and wodpeckers in the trees. Canoe and life wests available!

Sea room

Stay in the middle of the forest by a lake but only 13 kilometers (3 km gravel road) from Vimmerby. In the large cabin there is a fridge, gas stove and fresh water in cans (no running water) but there is lake water in the tap by the outdoor kitchen. The small cottage is an outdoor toilet indoors and fresh water in cans. The electricity is powered by battery bank and solar cells. Basu and boat available.
