Location, Location, Location! House is in the heart of Southwest Center City, in a very safe neighborhood. 10 min. walk to Rittenhouse. Just got renovated. Sleeps 8, 4 bedrooms, 3 double beds and one queen bed. House has 2 full bathrooms, one of them is on the first floor. Please check about pets. There is a charge of $375 as a RETURNABLE security deposit. It will be returned within 7 days of check-out date, unless there is exceeded housekeeping needed or exceeded utility bills had occurred.

Five Star Accommodations

We've had more than one guest tell us that Bancroft Cottage was better than their stay at the Hotel Dupont! (and a lot more reasonable may we add). In the event that we already have a guest checking out on the day you are checking in, or checking in on the day you are checking out we will need to adjust the check-in or check-out time by one hour to allow sufficient time for the Housekeeper. We have exterior cameras in the front and back for added security for our guests and the property.

It’s clean and has the feeling of being at home with a full kitchen with everything you need as well as a new washer and dryer. Kayla is responsive do anytime you reach out. Wonderful house with truly comfortable furniture. I actually photographed some of the furniture and manufacturer's tags to get those chairs and sofa for home. Mattress (king) also excellent. I stayed 5 days for work, and didn't want to leave. Super convenient for hiking on Neversink, too. It is not completely private since you may see hikers going by, and as an older female staying alone, I was aware of that. But there are plenty of shades including blackout and I got used to it. The view, before leaves come out, is awesome, the Mt. Penn neighborhood and Pagoda lit up at night, and the Howard Street Bridge, love it. Time to read the Updike "Rabbit" books again. One tip, make sure the upper shower knob is pointed down, or you will get a cold overhead blast from the other shower head. Otherwise all appliances and amenities are terrific! Thank you Denise for your quick and friendly communication and nice greeting card. Would stay again.

Ryan's place is cool, and you'll like your stay. My son thought Ryan's place was the best part of the trip. The surrounding neighborhood is up and coming, and we felt safe walking during the day or night. Historical sites are 30 to 40 minutes away by foot, but we Ubered most places. I highly recommend venturing on N Christopher Columbus Blvd and walking along the Delaware River; the Race Street Pier provides a beautiful view of New Jersey. Ryan's place is next to I-95; as such, there is highway noise day and night. If you are a light sleeper, know that the noise of cars whizzing on the highway doesn't go away.

Since I’m originally from the area, mostly knew what to expect but was surprised at how homey and perfectly located this adorable and functional cottage is. My goal was to decompress and wander to look at homes possibly to purchase. So easy to walk - roads easy to follow between Main Street and river. So many green walks and parks but best are the historic homes.

Janet and Drew have a wonderful place in the heart of Philly! If you are a cheesesteak lover Gino’s and Pats are both walking distance and can satisfy your cravings! The house overall was wonderful and had such a great at home feeling. There was ample space, and the private third floor with connected bedroom and bathroom was a major plus! My group and I were comfortable all through the home and were able to easily enjoy our stay in Philadelphia

Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others. A few small spots could have been cleaned a bit more and the price was a bit steep compared to similar locations, but ultimately happy we chose to stay here and the size of the home was perfect for what we needed.

This airbnb worked out great for our family - all 3 generations were able to be well accommodated in many different ways. There were recommendations for local restaurants & things to do left for us , some extra amenities made available to us, and the host even put out the high chair and pack n play in advance for us as she knew we had a baby in our group. There was more than enough space for everyone to be together in rooms, as well as plenty of space in the individual bedrooms. The fenced in yard and lil koi pond were also great features for the kids. The on site laundry and multiple full bathrooms were huge plusses as well! lf we find ourselves needing a place within the area in the future, we will definitely look to book here again as we were made very welcome & very comfortable.
