Accommodations in Villanova

Outstanding stay! This was our second time visiting this beautiful cottage and it was as great as the first. The home is one of the nicest Airbnb’s that we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, very quiet and super private on the side of the mountain overlooking the city. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate for us again, so we were unable to hike the trails, but we hope to be back next year to do so. The trails are literally out your back and front doors. Denise was perfect with her communication and so friendly. We were greeted with a lovely not and local treats. Do not hesitate to book!

Very good location for Old City. The parking garage 2 blocks away was convenient. Just make sure to have your luggage easily accessible as you'll need to remove it from your car and you won't be able to access your vehicle until you check out of the parking garage. We reserved and paid for our spot ahead of time to make sure we'd have a spot. House is clean with plenty of towels. 2 washer/dryers was useful for our family of 5. The gas stove was great. It was really nice to make breakfast before our days of sightseeing.

The place was comfortable and spacious. We were there for visiting family and it was a great place for us all to gather. Instructions for using the various amenities were very clear and easy to follow. The location is great for getting to local shops and restaurants, and it is an easy train trip into Philadelphia from the location. Dave is a great host, being friendly and easy to reach.

Elaine was an excellent host. The house was in a great location, very walkable neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and bars. House was clean , spacious and comfortable. Will definitely rent again. Also, by some miracle , always found a parking space !! ha!~

I recently just spent one month at Edward’s place and loved every minute of it. As other reviewers have noted, the layout is a little nontraditional, as you enter through a small sunroom and then go directly into the bedroom, then the living room/kitchen with the bathroom at the back. The kitchen was stocked with basic pots/pans, glassware, and dishes. The real gem of this listing is it’s location- it was next to a large park with many adorable dogs, the main strip of Chestnut Hill 2 min walk, a market, a playground, and easy parking around the vicinity. It offered a great home base to explore Philadelphia with good access to bus lines and the train if you did not have a car. Additionally, since I was at this spot for an entire month I needed additional supplies (ie mop) which Edward promptly ordered to the house. I look forward to returning to this spot next time work brings me to Philly!

This place was wonderful! Went for a weekend with my dogs and boyfriend to see family and stayed here! The house was very clean when we arrived and the host left us some wine and snacks which was very nice after a long day of traveling! The outside is beautiful as well and our dogs loved the yard! Would reccomend this place to anyone staying in the area!
