Hurmaava pieni hirsimökki ylitti kaikki kaikki odotukset! Mökkiä oli remontoitu ja sisustettu hyvällä maulla, kaikkialla oli erittäin siistiä, eikä tavaraa ollut liikaa. Grillasimme ja saunoimme pitkän kaavan mukaan. Näimmepä yön hämärässä myös elämämme hienoimmat revontulet! Heittämällä paras AirBnb-kokemus, suosittelen erittäin lämpimästi! Un sitio mágico en un entorno paradisiaco. Gracias a Johana y Marko pudimos disfrutar de 2 días en la naturaleza, viendo preciosos atardeceres, renos caminando por un lago helado e incluso alguna aurora boreal. La comunicación, en todo momento, fue rápida y fluida. Nos atendieron de una manera excelente, dando recomendaciones locales, adaptándose a las necesidades e incluso a los inconvenientes del nuestro viaje y siempre con la mejor sonrisa. Si bien es cierto, es imprescindible contar con un vehículo, pero es parte de la magia de encontrar un lugar tan único. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Hanna’s place was absolutely dreamy 💛 beautiful private cottage right on frozen lake where the ice was constantly making noise depending on what the weather was doing (deep freezing or warming up) - we could easily walk across the lake as other people were snowmobiling on it. Hanna even had a device there to create your own hole in the frozen lake to soak after sauna - or possibly ice fish. Sauna, fireplace, billiard, northern lights and husky ride were our highlights. Hanna was extremely easy to reach, sent easy to understand instructions, and was very helpful anytime we had questions. Many times went above and beyond just to make our stay more memorable. We created the most amazing memories there from our family vacation in Finland. This was our first time and most definitely not the last!

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Janne and Laura’s place. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and friendly nature. The cabin is beautifully situated in a peaceful, scenic area that feels like a true escape into nature. One of the absolute highlights was the private outdoor whirlpool and the sauna—both were absolutely perfect after a day of exploring the snowy surroundings. The attention to detail and care they’ve put into the space really shows, making it both cozy and comfortable. We visited in March and were lucky enough to witness the northern lights dancing across the sky right from the property—an experience we’ll never forget. This stay exceeded all our expectations, and we’re already dreaming of coming back. If you’re looking for an authentic and relaxing Lapland getaway, we couldn’t recommend this place more!

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Die Lage ist traumhaft – ruhig, abgeschieden und mitten in der atemberaubenden Natur. Die Umgebung hatte es uns wirklich angetan. Wer Glück hat kann Rentiere und Nordlichter direkt von der Terrasse, der Sauna oder dem Whirlpool aus beobachten. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet – es war wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Ausreichend Handtücher, genug Feuerholz, kuschlige Decken & eine Spülmaschine. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

The host was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a personally prepared herbal tea and a thorough introduction to all the house’s facilities, both inside and out. He also shared many helpful and insightful tips for exploring the local area. The house itself was modern, well-equipped, and impeccably maintained, surrounded by beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. It was truly a perfect and unforgettable stay.

We were a group of 6 adults, and we all fitted very nicely in this wonderful cabin next to the lake. The silence of the forest was at times solely interrupted by the chirping of the birds. We felt right at home in the cabin, which was equipped with all we needed. For instance, the cabin had lot of amenities to cook, and towels and linens were available as nicely described. Within drivable distance from Rovaniemi, it was the perfect choice to spend time in the Finnish nature. The fireplace next to the lake and the private sauna made our stay unique. We highly recommend this place for medium sized groups who enjoy outdoors and having privacy and alternate the visit to Rovaniemi attractions with calmness and slow paced life of Finnish mökki. We had no troubles in driving with a van through the muddy road that runs through the hill and forest to reach the cabin in spring time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!
