Your surroundings: Just a few kilometers from the Dutch border lies Nettetal with the district Hinsbeck. Hinsbeck and the neighboring Leuth form a state-recognized resort from Nettetal. It is the heart of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette International Nature Park. It offers a typical Lower Rhine landscape with 12 lakes, 70 km of cycling and 145 km of hiking trails. The landscape-typical, original flora and fauna can be admired in lovingly maintained natural protection facilities. Supermarket and bakery in walking distance. The highway 61 can be reached in about 8 km. Kaldenkirchen train station 7 is about km away. From there you can get directly via the Dutch border to Venlo and also in the other direction directly to Düsseldorf. Your home: The first floor of our detached house is your personal oasis of well-being for the duration of your stay. Since the summer of 2001 we have been happy to welcome our guests, who include everyone from the family with children to nature lovers to the assembly worker, who moves to Nettetal and the surrounding area. Our apartment offers about 60 m² of space for up to 4 people in 2 separate double rooms. Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Bright apartment with view of the countryside

The rooms (38 m²) are on the 2nd floor of the house. The apartment is not self-contained. It consists of a large living/sleeping room, kitchen, storage room and bathroom. Everything is available for self-catering. The washing machine and dryer can be used for a small fee. For personal reasons, I only rent the apartment to female guests and couples. In exceptional cases, more than 2 people are possible for an extra charge. Bookings can only be made with a verified ID.

The signal tower Linn was built in the 1920s and has now been extensively renovated after being decommissioned over 20 years ago. With love for the details and an eye for its historical origins, a unique and extremely atmospheric location has been created. On the 1st floor there is the loft-like living area with a cozy living/dining area - and the unique 180-degree view. On the lower level there are the 2 bedrooms, the laundry room and the shower room with a toilet.

Our garden apartment is on the raised ground floor of an Art Nouveau house from 1906. You have two rooms with a total of 90 square meters at your disposal. A living room and bedroom and a kitchen-living room. All windows and the sunny terrace overlook the garden. Our library invites you to read. Enjoy relaxed and spacious living in a quiet location in the center of Düsseldorf. The large shaker table can also be used for meetings with up to 6 people.

Stay on a Lower Rhine farm in our small, cozy accommodation. The apartment is bright and friendly and has been built with natural building materials. A terrace for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening awaits you. The picnic meadow in the shade of the trees is a place where children can romp around carefree. Our farm is rural and invites you to take walks along the Niers. We are therefore not easily accessible by public transport.

Quiet, lovingly furnished guest house in Mönchengladbach - Neuwerk. The old barn is about 60 m² and completely renovated. It offers enough sleeping space for 4 people plus baby/toddler. A workplace is set up, TV & Wi-Fi available. We try to welcome our guests personally to answer questions about the house and its surroundings directly. The A52 and A44 highways are 5 minutes away and the city center is 10 minutes away.

Hof Michiels (Apartment 4)

Our lovingly restored apartments are located in a former barn of our organic farm. The approximately 300-year-old farm is located in the middle of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park. In the immediate vicinity is Lake Borner and Lake Harik. We cultivate permanent pasture with a suckler cow herd, consisting of approx. 20 animals that spend the summer in the pastures. Our farm is home to our friendly dog named Costa.
