We had a fantastic stay—this place truly exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice! The home is beautifully decorated, and the outdoor area is absolutely lovely. The bonfire and porch really capture the charm and tranquility of the Karoo. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

The name Ons Huisie is perfect as it really felt like home away from home... We will definitely be back when we make a trip out to that side again. I will absolutely recommend Ons Huisie to family and friends.

What a stunning find. Away from the main Rd in the heart of Karoo. Wide open views and beautiful house. They really went the extra mile to make the home welcoming and professional. Our rooms were perfect, and everything was available and worked. We spent a wonderful evening around the fireplace and went to bed in warm rooms. We will return soon! Danielle was incredible friendly, responsive and helpful.

A wonderful stay! Lovely farm, cottage and host. There is a great braai area outside, but after a long day on the road we decided to treat ourselves to a home-cooked meal in the guest dining room which was superb. Stylish setting and fine touches, with the lemon meringue for dessert the best we've ever had. 10/10!

Alca was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. All the amenities were exactly as listed, and the place was perfect for a relaxing break. My daughter had such a great time that she’s already asked to come back just so she can play with Alca’s daughters again! Thank you for making us feel so welcome — we’d love to return.

After a long road on our way to Knysna, this was a wonderful stopover. It is a bit far off the main road and therefore it will be better to stay there for another day. It is rest for the soul. Diane is a superb host. This farm house experience will stay in our memories for a long time. We travel to and from Knysna often, and we will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for a lovely place to stay.

Wonderful freestanding cottage, perfect size for the 4 of us. Quiet neighborhood, the ideal overnight place. Very clean and still looked new. The kitchen has all you need and the lounge is great. There's an outside table and benches and a braai as well as plenty of secure parking. The outside space is neat and clean. We will stay here again on our travels.
