The Nest is a perfect, seaside retreat situated within easy reach of excellent restaurants (the best Pizza place on the Island is beneath the apartment and you can get a discount!), all transport options (buses and cabs and plenty of beautiful walks), and there is a small Morrisons on the corner of the street if you want to cook yourself. Couldn't be better. Dave is a friendly host with a keen interest in making your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. He was very responsive to any small enquiry and basically couldn't do enough even though I was there over the Christmas period. When I arrived some lights were on and so was the heating, which was much appreciated as my journey from the midlands had been tortuous! The Nest is also a very interesting place, part of its owners ambition to start a restaurant and accommodation project on the Island where he grew up - the renovation of both the apartment and the pizzeria beneath is impressive.

Logement conforme aux photos du site. Proche des commerces et bord de mer à quelques pas de la location. Extrêmement calme et très bien équipé. le seul inconvénient est l'absence de wifi, et certains réseaux téléphoniques ne passent pas à l'intérieur de l'appartement. Natacha nous a expliqués en fin de séjour que le problème allait être résolu rapidement. Appartement, très agréable et proche des sites importants ( plages du Débarquement, musées, etc...). Un grand merci a Natacha et Yannick pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni in questo grazioso appartamento e ci siamo sentiti come a casa! Molto pulito, letti comodi e lenzuola profumate, tutto l'occorrente per cucina e bagno, al di sopra di ogni aspettativa. Vincent si è rivelata una persona squisita fin dal primo contatto, e anche al nostro arrivo si è confermato disponibilissimo e amichevole e ci ha dato un sacco di ottimi consigli! Inoltre, la posizione è ideale per girare Bayeux a piedi , comodo anche il parcheggio privato in cortile 😊 consigliato al 100%!!

My mum and I spent 4 nights and Eleonor & Ed's place and it was an amazing stay. Everything was really charming, clean and tidy, the beds were really comfortable and it was quiet at night so perfect to relax after a full day outside. The environment is great (the Royal Jersey Golf Course is 100meters and the sea is 200meters away). You can go to Gorey within 3minutes, to St Helier within less than 15 minutes and to La Corbière Lighthouse within less tha' 30 minutes by car. A gas station is 5minutes away and you can reach a grocery store within 15minutes by foot. I would definitely recommand this place!

Bien que nous soyons restés seulement 2 nuits, nous avons apprécié cet appartement assez grand pour deux à l’ambiance très cosy et joliment decoré. Nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de faire de cuisine (les restos autour sont sympathiques, mention au Russel) mais nous avons même trouvé des flûtes pour boire le champagne avec de bons gâteaux de la boulangerie toute proche pour fêter un anniversaire. Bref, un appartement très agréable et calme dans un lieu qui l’est tout autant. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Nous n’avons pas eu besoin de contacter Emmanuel durant le séjour, un livret d’accueil est suffisamment détaillé. Nous l’avons rencontré à notre départ, très sympathique.

Hôtes très sympathique, logement spacieux, pratique et équipé. À deux pas de la Manche, quartier très calme. Je recommande ce logement, Agréable séjour.

It's an apartment that is the host's home, she rents the whole apartment and isn't there. There are two flights of stairs to the entry. There is plenty of space for 2. The bed was comfortable and the room can get very dark with mechanical shutters that block out all the light. You can hear neighbors at times, but it was very quiet at night. There is a lovely bath tub to soak in. The host meets you for check in and check out. There was a lot of local information. It's a great base to explore the Normady region.

We stayed at the property as a family of three, including our 18 month old toddler. The hosts could not have been more helpful, setting up a travel cot with clean, fresh linens, a highchair and even a baby bath and bath toys! Upon arrival we were blown away by how responsive the host was when we had a question and delighted to find a big box of toys to keep our little one busy. The house is beautifully decorated with everything you could need. We truly felt at home immediately. This was our first trip away from home as a family and we can't recommend it enough. Parking was super easy (I often worry about tight spaces!), the location was great for exploring the island from and the kitchen has everything you could ever need. The sofa is super comfy, as are the beds. Thank you to the hosts, you truly made our first trip away so smooth and easy. We feel so much more confident in travelling with our little one moving forwards and hope to stay in one of your AirBnB's in the future.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour avec nos 2 enfants. Logement très bien équipé et propre. Proche des remparts, commerce à côté et place de parking.

Expérience exceptionnelle. Accueil chaleureux. Un hote guide touristique à l'écoute, attentionné et qui sait se rendre disponible. Si vous êtes passionnés d'histoire comme Florentin, les échanges et moments partagés sont encore plus appréciables. Le gîte est confortable, propre et bénéficie de toutes les commodités. Il est globalement à proximité des principaux sites historiques en voiture. L'environnement est paisible. Je recommande vivement. Nous comptons bien y retourner dans ces lieux chargés d'histoire avec des hotes bienveillants. Une nouvelle fois merci et à bientôt.

Des instructions claires, une maison très propre et fidèle aux photos, un équipement pour notre bébé de 14 mois au rendez-vous, des recommandations sur les restaurants et activités aux alentours et même un petit mot personnalisé sur le frigo! Des attentions qui font plaisir. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce airbnb, que nous allons sans doute réserver à nouveau

Logement fonctionnel et confortable, très bien équipé, à deux minutes à pieds du centre aquatique, du supermarché et des commerces. L'espace extérieur n'est pas très cosy, visible de la rue. Résidence très calme, nous avons bien dormi (literie de qualité). Nous recommandons !

nous avons passé un super séjour, de belles plages à proximité et de quoi se promener. très beau logement, très bon emplacement et en plus nous pouvons emmener notre toutou.

Bardzo ładne miejsce. Apartament nowy i czysty, łatwy kontakt z gospodarzem który przywitał nas przy drzwiach i udzielił jasnych instrukcji na czas pobytu. Bardzo miło spędziłem tam czas z rodziną. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce. Dziękuję Corinne za miły pobyt.

We felt really comfortable at Merwen's apartment, it was a short walk from the station, very close to the excursion pickup point and everything we wanted to see was nearby. Merwen was an excellent host, he even provided adaptor plugs.

Appartement décoré avec goût! Il est fonctionnel, propre et très bien distribué. Un appartement qu’on aimerait garder secret pour pouvoir le réserver à chaque fois qu’on vient en Normandie.

We loved staying at Milene’s place. What a gem! In the heart of the town, walking distance to everything. Stylish and beautiful apartment. Both beds are comfy. We highly recommend!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sophie et Will, l’appartement était parfait et dépassé en qualité tout ce que nous avions pu voir jusqu’à là. Le logement est lumineux, petit balcon pour une pause café très sympa. L’emplacement est idéal ! Nous recommandons vivement !!!
