5 stars all around! We had a lot of fun. Having a private pier was amazing, and we caught lots of catfish and yellow bass off the pier! The house was very clean and smelled great as soon as you walked in. Very easy check in. The furniture was in great shape and so comfortable. Plenty of kitchen utensils, too. The views were beautiful. It was quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Just perfect! We really enjoyed our honeymoon here, and we hope to come back soon!

I had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! Tucked away in the woods, it was the perfect peaceful escape from the city. The surroundings were quiet and serene, with nothing but the sounds of nature—exactly what I was hoping for. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and friendly, and check-in was super smooth. Whether you’re looking to unwind, go explore, or just relax with a book, this is the perfect spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Location, location, location. This is a wonderful apartment in the historic district of Vicksburg, within walking distance of museums, restaurants, coffee shops and shops. It is only two miles from the National Military Park. There is an on-site manager who is quick to respond. I would highly recommend this place for a Vicksburg visit.

Truly an oasis! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The only reason for 4 stars on cleanliness was that there was a pair of boxers left behind by previous guest and a couple of provisions empty. However, the hosts replaced coffee right away! The cottage was adorable, and there were several toiletries stocked such as face wash, q-tips, etc. that can be so helpful to guests needing anything. Loved staying here and will recommend it to visiting friends/family to the area.

Super cool, clean park

All the reviews are correct. This is a great place to say. Well equipped kitchen for those who want/like to cook. We had a heating issue (completely our fault) and I contacted Jacqueline about it. She was able to take care of it remotely in no time. She followed up with a message through the app and the called me a day later to make sure everything was still ok. This really is a nice place to stay with an even nicer host. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was great. House is beautiful and spacious. Willie was great and responded promptly when we had wifi issues. We would definitely stay again. The back deck was incredible and the snacks were very thoughtful. Connie

Well appointed, updated kitchen, lots of open space in and out. 1.5 bath but we made it work with kids in tow. Very peaceful. Prompt responses from hosts.

The home was in a great neighborhood and close proximity to the highway and attractions/downtown. The beds were comfortable. The house was as described with pretty decor. Entry/exit was easy and the keypad/keylock was convenient and easy to use. We would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

We will definitely be back. Eagle Lake is one of our favorite places to visit and this is definitely the nicest place we have ever stayed there!

Definitely gonna have to come back when it’s not work related. Host were very proactive and always responsive. Definitely recommend if you are in the area or just looking for a family getaway and look to do some fishing.

It was the perfect location for us because my daughter’s wedding was held at another across the street. They were very responsive and accommodating to any and all our needs. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a last minute booking as we were on our way to Florida via California. And I can say that I'm so happy we stopped and found this amazing gem of a place. The photos didn't do it justice! We felt right at home immediately. Great weather added to the ability to spent a lot of time in the courtyard soaking up the sun. The house was immaculate and has so much history. The beds were super comfy, the space was perfect to stretch out in. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful place and very clean. And the hosts, Daisy and Steven were the best hosts we have ever run across.

The Mississippi Belle is truly the gem of Vicksburg! The host has truly thought of every little detail to make your stay of the highest quality. When we arrived, there were flowers waiting on the kitchen island and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the amenities to cook and enjoy a morning coffee. The house is immaculately clean and the attention to detail in the bedrooms is unparalleled. There are table fans in each bedroom as well as the finest linens to help you get the best sleep possible. You will feel relaxed and refreshed after a fantastic night’s sleep. The sheriff station is located directly next door in the historical Civil War jail so we felt safe at all times and were able to really enjoy the grounds of the home. Sunsets on the front porch are exceptional and the rocking chairs and blue porch ceiling truly take you back in time to the Old South. If you are looking for the perfect southern mansion to enjoy the rich history of Vicksburg, then this is the place to stay!

Beautiful cabin on the river. Old timey feel with modern amenities. Host was very easy to deal With. It fit our needs perfectly. Very comfortable and unique place. Would definitely stay again.

Corey has a lovely home and did great at communications. The home had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms especially the upstairs was great. He has done some updates to the home. Kitchen had almost everything we needed. The location was good, walkable historic trail and the murals are beautiful to look at. The Vicksburg National Military Park was outstanding. The neighbor does have a dog that barks often, no fault of our host but it does make it hard to sleep at times.
