Fantastic family villa with stunning vistas. It was great for our large family and still giving us enough space for ourselves. Shops nearby and good access to Taormina.

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Without hesitation, I can say this was one of the most amazing stays/experiences I've ever had while traveling. There were eleven of us including children and the villa was absolutely perfect for our week-long holiday in Sicily. First of all, communication with the host was flawless and the hospitality was first class. The keyholder went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, and we received little treats nearly everyday which only added to our satisfaction. If there was an issue, the keyholder made sure it was immediately taken care of without question. Regarding the villa, it is spectacular! You can get lost in it while exploring the hallways and towers -- the kids thought they were living in a real castle. While it's not in pristine condition, the little imperfections add to the homely feel of the place. The infinity pool and pool bar are also highlights of the villa, and they're perfect for lazy afternoons and enjoying the views of Mt. Etna and surrounding countryside.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Cinzia is a wonderful host, and the home is outstanding — so peaceful and full of charm. We had a truly great time there and would love to return for a longer stay. Thank you for such a lovely experience! ♥️

We had a fantastic eight day stay in Mario’s wonderful villa. The location and views are incredible and we would highly recommend staying here. Mount Etna even erupted and put on a display (which was fabulous to witness) and Mario was hot on the phone telling us to get outside at 11pm to view the spectacle. A perfect venue with lots of space for our large party of eight adults and two children, the surrounding patios gave amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. We loved picking fresh oranges and cherries daily which was so relaxing and tasty! It’s a short 15 minute walk to the local town with a wonderful bakery and butchers plus supermarkets all accessable. We will definitely return to this wonderful villa when revisiting Sicily and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Mario .

Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir begeistert – die Bilder in der Anzeige entsprechen absolut der Realität. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, großzügig geschnitten und liegt in einer wunderbar ruhigen Gegend – perfekt, um abzuschalten und das echte Sizilien zu genießen. Wir waren mit unserer achtköpfigen Familie dort und hatten mehr als genug Platz. Jeder hatte seine Rückzugsmöglichkeit und trotzdem gab es viele schöne gemeinsame Bereiche – ob auf der Terrasse mit Ausblick, beim Essen im Freien oder im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer. Wichtig zu wissen: Das Haus ist nur mit einem Mietwagen erreichbar und die Auffahrt ist recht steil. Es braucht etwas Übung und ein bisschen Fahrgefühl – erfahrene Autofahrer schaffen das aber gut. Som alle andre besøgende har skrevet er udsigten perfekt, Maria er meget informerende og havde indkøbt forskellige madvarer. Eneste ting som jeg ikke synes at andre gæster nævner er at bygningen som lejligheden ligger i trænger til en stor istandsættelse.

The long journey up the mountain was absolutely worth it, the view over the valley, the sea, and the surrounding villages is simply breathtaking. The house was very clean and well-equipped with all the essentials. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. This region is truly one of the most spectacular areas you can experience in Sicily, highly recommended!

It was a lovely place and very easy to get to the main tourist spots and harbour. Paola gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby.

Our expectations were exceeded. Paulo was so helpful and friendly. The pet dog Papoy even made our stay fun. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a memorable experience

One of the cleanest Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. The location is really good and the apartment matches the photos. The host made sure to think about everything one can possibly need, including a hair straightener 🙈. The apartment was close to the bus station from the airport and from a big bus station where you can take the bus to Syracuse as well. The city Center is pretty close and there are lots of good restaurants 7-10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. I highly recommend this accommodation in Catania!

Great place to spend several days in Catania. Beautiful home, where you get the feel of real living in this beautiful city. Parking almost always available. Kitchen has everything (besides the breathtaking view on Etna), though it might get warm in the high summer under the sun. Thank you for this stay!

Beautiful stay in Aci Catena. The space comfortably accommodated all four of us and the beds were one of the most comfortable of our whole trip. The outdoor area was amazing with the pool surrounded by many olive, lemon and peach trees. Daria was very willing to help with every question we had and made many recommendations throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay, yet so close to everything.

Schon vorab war die Kommunikation super und wir konnten auch vor Ort jede Frage stellen, haben Tipps für die Gegend wie auch für tolle Restaurant etc bekommen. Die Anlage ist ein Traum, die einzelnen Wohnungen sind wunderschön restauriert und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so benötigt. Der Pool ist fantastisch, der Blick auf den Ätna (gerade bei Sonnenuntergang) beeindruckend. Auch die vielen Informationen, die in jeder Wohnung liegen, sind hilfreich. Besonders interessant war die Beschreibung der Restauration des gesamten Anwesens - bewundernswert, mit wie viel Liebe und Mühe dieser Ort wieder zum Leben erweckt wurde! Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gorgeous house, excellent location, and such gracious hosts! Daniele and his parents were both lovely. The space is clean and has everything we needed. The pool is the perfect afternoon relaxing spot. It’s well kept and very clean, which we can only imagine a huge feat considering the volcanic ashes! We also went up Mt Etna with Daniele. He’s a great guide as well! Overall 10/10 recommend.

Right from the start, our hosts went above & beyond to make sure my family had a wonderful first visit to Sicily. Our overnight flight arrived early in the morning, and they were able to accommodate an early check-in, complete with a tour of the apartment’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and two terraces. They showed us around the building, made sure we knew how to access to the pool, and gave us clear instructions for how to get in and out of the garage and pedestrian entrances. They even went so far as to make dinner reservations for us that ensured our 11th wedding anniversary was spectacular and surprised us with a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator. The two bedrooms were perfect for our family of three, and they provided a crib and bed linens for our son. The terraces were incredible, with unobstructed views of the water. The air conditioning was also essential in the hot Sicilian summer. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina

Alessandra’s property just north of Viagrande was an excellent location for us to explore Mt Etna and surrounding towns. Alessandra was a great communicator and accommodated our late check in after an evening flight into Catania. Our children enjoyed exploring the grounds of the property but the guest house itself is quite rustic (which was fine for us).

We had a lovely stay at Michele’s place. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The large outdoor space made our holiday really special. Michele keeps the garden beautifully neat and tidy, and the surrounding area is very peaceful, so it was a pleasure to spend time outside. We had lots of fun in the swimming pool, although it was a bit on the cool side when we were there at the end of May. The little terrace area was a real sun trap, so ideal for sun bathing and warming up after a dip. The lawn is shaded by beautiful mature trees, which must be lovely in the hotter months. The property is close to Etna National Park and as well as doing a guided trip up Etna, we had some lovely hikes in the foothills and lower slopes of the mountain. (I downloaded the AllTrails app to find local walks). Michele was a very considerate host and always ready to help with anything we needed. All in all, it is one of the best properties we have stayed in.

My 3 sisters and I stayed for our annual European trip and the apartment met out needs and more. Every morning was spent on the balcony taking in the breathtaking views. Taormina is the jewel in Sicily’s crown with so much to do and see including a taste of opera, history, boat tours, beaches, shopping, gelato and more. 5 days was not long enough. Local shops and amenities are on the doorstep and you couldn’t ask for a better location with easy access to the cable car and bus stops etc. Very easy pick up/drop off for Uber. Steps are a feature of the area so pack at least 1 pair of sensible shoes!
