Family-friendly vacation rentals in Versailles

We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

We had An amazing time staying at Emily’s! My daughter was out early every morning to say hi to the horses and loved the kitty and dogs visiting too! Beds were comfy!

We loved our stay here and Cliff was wonderful. We were three couples and there was plenty of room. This house is larger than it appears from the pictures. We had an issue with the gate code being different than what we were given but Cliff was instantly available, very nice, and got us in. It's a beautiful home and we'd stay there again. Very quiet, places to walk, and clean. I think if you switched the bunk beds with a Queen sized bed from downstairs it would be set up better for Adult couples. Thanks so much for our stay and we loved our Kentucky trip!

The home is down several dirt roads .. very excluded. The views make it worth the Trip. Plenty of areas to cook with multiple living spaces.

The only item not mentioned was the preschool right next door.

Julie was a great host and super responsive! Her house was fantastic and the perfect location with being close to the Kentucky Horse Park.

There was a small mixup in the beginning but it all worked out in the end.

If you are looking for that private getaway for two, then look no further! It is perfectly located in the heart of bourbon country! But secluded enough that you're not in the middle of the mess! So quiet and peaceful! And the host, Jackie, was incredible! My wife and I talked to her for quite a while! Do yourself a favor and get to know this incredibly interesting woman!

The place was clean, easy to find, and dog-friendly which was great for our pup!

We had a great experience, Ross was an excellent host. He was friendly, easy to communicate with and helpful. His house was very clean full of amenities and was very easy to find. I would definitely recommend this cozy inviting house to anyone.

Eric’s Airbnb is just lovely. Everything was immaculate when we arrived. It was a perfect location for me and my family while we attended a family wedding.

Nathan and Shannan’s place was just lovely. Just a few minutes out of town and such a unique home with lots of love built in. We had a lovely stay and as a proud Berea College alum, I loved seeing some old Berea memorabilia in the home. Very cozy for a beautiful fall weekend with my family! And my chihuahuas were happy too!

Kelly’s property was beautiful. My husband and I were just passing through for the night but really wish we had more time to enjoy the location. It was very peaceful and well kept grounds. I got to see a few of the horses while we were driving away and would have loved to see more. We got in late evening and had to leave early morning. The house was clean, bed was comfy and had a cute front porch. I am hoping to find another reason to be out in the area and have a longer stay at Kelly’s place.

Our family of 6 stayed between Christmas and New Years. Like Alicia and Glenn, we also homeschool our four kids (ages 12-6). We were worn down from the holidays and daily life, so were looking for a refreshing time away from home. Our stay was exactly that. The home and property were extremely peaceful being out in the woods. We did several trail walks and explored the creeks around the property. The kids thought the circular nature of the home, and hot tub were fun too. I appreciated the various Christian decor in the home, it gave me some things to think about as we hung out. But even more than all of that, we had a wonderful chat with Alicia and Glenn that was very refreshing to our spirits. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway that is focused on Jesus and the holy spirt this is the place for you. Make sure you read all the description in the listing so you know what you are renting. If you do that, you'll be very pleased :) In Christ, Dave & Maura

Went to the Kentucky Derby with a group of friends. He graciously left us a derby care package at check-in. This place was perfect for 8 guys who just were looking for a place to sleep and have a BBQ in the driveway. Pillows could use an upgrade, and the closet in the bunk bed room had games and toys thrown about, but overall a good place to stay and worth the money of the rental.

We had a great stay! We were there for a bachelorette trip and it was the perfect spot. It was secluded in this beautiful spot in the woods, the rooms were big and spacious. The waterfall was an amazing touch and the brides only request was a pool and hot tub; and Alicia had both! Very much recommend this place for a getaway with your friends.

The cottage was very accommodating and very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Check in and check out was very easy. The host was amazing and very helpful. We would definitely recommend to others.

We loved staying at Annika’s place during our visit to Kentucky for Keeneland. It reminded us of our historic sorority house, had everything we needed, and kept our men folk occupied in the pool room watching football while we sisters caught up all night! We had the best time! Thank you for having us!

This is a beautiful, historic, and impressive home. Our family took a weekend in the area and greatly enjoyed staying at Barr House Inn. The rooms were large, furnishings elegant, entrance impressive, and the location with a short drive to Lexington was helpful. An added benefit was the swimming pool with a deck and chairs/tables for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. All of the bedrooms, two of the bathrooms, as well as the kitchen were on the second floor, which made it easy for family gatherings. It was a great and enjoyable weekend at this historic home.

A great place to stay if you want to be close to Rupp and/or downtown. The place is just as it shows in the pictures. I only have two small complaints/suggestions. The lobby of the complex seems to be in a state of disrepair and is very poorly lit at night. Not a very welcoming entry at night. Secondly, I was not able to adjust the thermostat. Seemed to be a problem with the nest control. Other than these small things, the place is great and I would definitely stay here again.

The place was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was hot and ready for us and we could see the lake from the house. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen, soaking in the hot tub, and making our way to the lake to fish. We ate at Cattlemans Roadhouse nearby which was great as well. Great weekend getaway.
