Family-friendly vacation rentals in Verona

Stayed here for a sisters weekend- and it was great for 6 sisters between the ages of 60-75. Two bedrooms on main floor and 2 downstairs worked great for us. Things were a little dated- but hey- so are we. We had a couple of issues that needed attn and James was most attentive and took care of them immediately. I would recommend. Great value for 6 women with varying needs! Especially loved the hot tub in the natural surroundings!!!

Beautiful spot to relax, close to great hiking trails. The home was comfy and had some thoughtful extras.

This place was amazing! Fireplace. Bigger than expected. Very clean. The hospitality was dope! Great view of the "mountains" . Pretty cool experience. The extra pull out bed is such a nice touch!

Jan was great!! The place messed up our room but she did her best to make it right. We appreciate her attention and her desire to fix the situation.

Excellent house for our guys golf trip! Lots of amenities at the house and a 10 minute to all of the different Eagle Ridge golf courses. House is a 15 minute drive to downtown Galena that has a lot of shops and restaurants. Very responsive and friendly hosts. 10/10!

Outstanding! There are so many adjectives to describe this location! We are looking forward to going back!!! So much to do and fun for everyone! The hosts were so responsive! Highly recommend for a family getaway!

Was a great place for an adult weekend get away! Really loved the space, the weather wasn’t great but the outdoor space was great too! Hot tub and fire pit plus a grill and deck was all perfect. Plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms!

Loved bug the car that greeted us every time we came in and out of the place! We were there when the May flies were hatching so we did not get to enjoy some of the luxury’s of the place but we are excited to come back soon!

Great location to stay. Easy walk to capital, university, zoo. Easy access to walking trails. Good maps. Comfortable house and comfortable beds. Beautiful views of capital across the bay.

I’ve been coming here since 2018 and it is my absolute favorite getaway from the business of the city. Comfortable furniture and bed, kitchenette is well stocked with supplies, and the rain shower is such a nice treat!! Jilly & KenBob are the friendliest hosts, and at this point feel like extended family. My dogs absolutely love running around the property with all the smells, woods to explore, and the river & lake to swim in. I could go on and on….its never goodbye, it’s see you next time!

This place is a beautiful little getaway. Right up the road from the river, it is peaceful and quiet. Lots of fun architecture to see in town and the river walk is lovely. Our dogs were welcomed which made the trip 10x more enjoyable. The house is cozy, warm and feels very much like home. Sue has an entry table in the home with suggestions for local activities, eateries, shopping which was nice to refer to. Overall we were happy with the space. It was nice to know that Sue was in the house next door for questions, but she very much provided privacy unlike some places I’ve stayed. I highly recommend!

My husband, two dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The point of my vacation was going somewhere we could take our dogs and this was the perfect spot to relax with them for a few days. Everything was clean and there was a perfect amount of space for us to relax. It was very quiet in the neighborhood and most of the time it felt like we were the only ones around. It was great to be able to walk to a very nice restaurant and bar a minute or two down from the cabin since we wanted to stay close. The only thing that bummed me out was we went at the end of May and the dock wasn’t put out - and I was hoping to spend time sitting out on the water. That could have been me not realizing the typical “season” but had assumed it’d be out so I recommend checking if that’s important to you :)

My family and I stayed at the Driftless Escape Cabin and had a wonderful time! The interior was even more beautiful in person with plenty of space for my whole family. The Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and they had everything you needed. The property was gorgeous with lots of open space and amazing views. We loved playing in the yard and s’mores by the fire. And even though the cabin is close to town, we still felt like we were miles away in nature and truly disconnected!!

Cute little spot. Great for weekends away. Downtown is walking distance and has a variety of shops. Cell service can be hit or miss, but not fault of host. Daisy is very sweet and will come greet you for pets. House was very comfortable and has everything you need (except washcloths, so if you're used to that bring your own). We enjoyed our time and would recommend it for anyone coming to the area.

This was such a nice ace and perfect for our dogs, 2 standard poodles, who do not potty on leash. The private space in the back was perfect for enjoying the weather. The space was roomy, and had everything we needed to enjoy meals, play games, watch TV, and relax. I swear the pillows were the best I've ever slept on too! The location was close to everything we wanted to do -the Anderson Japanese Gardens, the Nicholas Conservatory, the Laurant House, the Tinker Swiss House, and the Arboretum wasn't too far away at all.

Alex was a Great host! His lake house was clean and cozy.. The view was beautiful! My children and I really enjoyed ourselves.. Thanks Alex!!

Great spot! The condo was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Mandy’s detailed directions and instructions made checking in a breeze. Our group of four had a fantastic time.

This is the 2nd time I booked Laurie's place, so you know we were pleased the first time. It didn't disappoint. Last time was for our son's wedding, this time was for our future daughter-in-law's girls' weekend. House was perfect for hanging out, close to downtown for shopping and a night out.

Even better than advertised. Sandy was wonderful and so was the home. We were very pleased with our stay and her communication. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, close to the strip, around golf courses, wineries, great food, fishing, historical places, and kayaking. Thanks again Sandy, we will be talking to you soon I’m sure.

We had a fantastic stay for our “Mom’s-Away” weekend. One thing to note- google maps brought us down a different street where there is no access to the house. Unsure why that was the default direction, but you just need to ensure you take the designated street to get to the house. It was especially confusing as there must be another rental since there were signs that said “XYZ Home This Way” haha. The screened porch was so relaxing we spent the majority of our time there.
