Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vernou-sur-Brenne

We had a wonderful week at Daphne‘s beautiful gite in Amboise. We have never stayed at a gite that is so well stocked with equipment, lovely furnishings and stunning surroundings. It was the perfect size for our family of four adults and two teenage boys. It’s perfectly located to be peaceful and relaxing, but only a short drive, or cycle ride, to the local shops and market in Amboise. We loved everything about it and hope to return again in the not too distant future. Thank you Daphné for making us so welcome and your recommendations of local places to eat and things to do. 🥰

We just spent a few days of rest and beautiful visits at Grégoire's a very welcoming and available host. We particularly enjoyed the private tour of the chatelet thank you very much as well as the proximity of many castles. Recommended!

Spent a beautiful week after Christmas with my family. Was a perfect farm stay, quiet and picturesque, lots of walks, sitting by the fire reading and cooking. All amenities well provided, had raclette on NYE. An amazing stay.

The interior and exterior of the house are carefully furnished. The house is spacious (for a family of 2 adults/2 children) and functional. There are many amenities to enjoy your stay (cooking equipment, books, magazines...). The ability to park your vehicle in a closed garage is also very much appreciated.

Marie was very kind and welcoming. We had a great time with our three children, who loved the games found in the room. The house, traditional and heated with the fireplace on, gave us a really pleasant stay. We highly recommend it!

Celine's house is a peaceful oasis, it smells good, a nice patio with flowers where, when Céline welcomed us, we drank a glass of "homemade" lemon tea. Celine told us about Tours and its best places, restaurants etc. It's true that the historic center of Tours is a bit far on foot but we had no trouble parking. We really enjoyed Celine's house, her paintings and the atmosphere! The bedding is extremely comfortable and everything is as described.

Lazar is very welcoming. Her place has a lot of character and is ideally located in the historic center of Tours. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay with him again

Very clean accommodation (small suggestion made to the hosts who will apparently do what is necessary), responsiveness and excellent communication with the hosts. Visiting Tours to see our student daughter, ideal location (even more so compared to our daughter's), many things can be done on foot. Bord de Loire just next door, it must be very pleasant for walks when the weather is nice!. The Parking bonus is a real plus. Very nice layout of the accommodation.

The apartment is beautiful and full of light. Very comfortable and close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. I stayed for 3 months while doing a language course and appreciated that the photos were accurate. The decor was lovely. Sylvie was responsive and friendly.

Beautiful and peaceful stay in the center of Tours. The space was clean, large and filled with all the amenities you could dream of after a long day out exploring. Extremely walkable and providing parking was an extra perk. Really enjoyed our time here after spending the day visiting chateaus.

We had a great time with the family (7 adults and 1 baby) at Caroline's apartment, located in the city center of Tours. The accommodation is very spacious and well arranged. The decor is very neat. We enjoyed the living spaces, the kitchen was very well-equipped and just like home, it allowed us to have family meals and the spacious living room with its sofas was great for spending pleasant evenings. Caroline responds very quickly to requests. The instructions are clear. The location of the accommodation allowed us to do the tours and activities on foot. The proximity to the halls is a plus for food shopping (and quality) The accommodation is located close to shops if you want to indulge in a little shopping. The Tours region offers many opportunities for sightseeing and walks just a few minutes' drive away.

We had a great week! The house is perfectly equipped , the air conditioning was very useful the first 2 days of our stay. We enjoyed the pool greatly. Beautiful English garden. The walks along the expensive river are very soothing.

We had a pleasant stay at this beautiful villa. The terrace, outdoor pool and hot tub are real pluses.

The weather wasn't on our side for this family weekend, but the warm atmosphere of Betty's home allowed us to have a great time.

Completely atypical house and tastefully decorated in a style mixing the rustic of the farmhouse and contemporary works and designs. The garden is large, quiet and well protected. We had a very quiet week as we wanted with a visit to the castles of the Loire Valley nearby, restaurants following the informed advice of our hosts, when we did not want to cook. A big thank you to them for their kindness and hospitality.

Great spot for our family including grandparents. Home is spacious with character and has good space inside and outside. Hosts was responsive and the small animal farm was amazing for our kids!
