Staying in the chapel is an extraordinary, wonderful experience. This chapel has been completely renovated by Iris, with incredible talent. If I had to remember a few elements, it would be the feeling of space, the inverted boat hull frame, the stained glass window adjoining the bedroom, the papier-mâché jars, the garden at the back, etc. It's a perfect place to meet, in a village where life is good. Iris is a caring and learned host, who will tell you the whole story of the place. Looking forward to coming back!

We really enjoyed the calm and tranquility of the place, the proximity to Verneuil-sur-Avre (very pretty town with all amenities). Our host Thierry was very good advice for the walks in the area, and very responsive to our requests.

Superb house, full of charm, tastefully decorated and very pleasant to stay in with all the necessary equipment to come with family or friends with children. We felt great there! Jordan sent us a little guide and was very accommodating, it was very much appreciated and made us want to come back!

Very well located apartment, close to shops, various services and cultural places. We did everything on foot. In addition, the accommodation is quiet, pleasant and very functional. We highly recommend it for a short stay in Chartres for two or three.

Beautiful, well-designed accommodation in a quiet cul-de-sac. The terrace is very nice even if we couldn't enjoy it due to the weather. The sauna is great with the adjoining shower! The only downside is the sofa bed, which is not as comfortable as a real bed, but it does the job for one night. Thank you for all the small touches too!

Marie Madeleine is a very kind and smiling host. The accommodation is very good, spacious, functional and well-equipped. The apartment is well located, no problem for parking and little noise at night. Lots of products (cleaning, toilet etc.) which is rare. Geneviève's beautiful apartment was the perfect place for my extended stay. The very central location made walking anywhere in Chartres very easy and it is in a lovely part of town. The place itself is well equipped with everything one would need for an extended stay, including a nicely arranged kitchen and a washing machine. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment and is very comfortable and quiet. The living area is spacious with good lighting and spaces for dining, relaxing, and working. Geneviève was incredibly responsive and kind and made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend this beautiful place and wonderful host!
