Family-friendly vacation rentals in Verdun

This is an incredible house, with a magnificent garden. We were 2 adults and 4 children. The hosts are a lovely couple and they have created a beautiful kitchen garden. There is a ping pong table outside as well as a table football, which the children really enjoyed. And the washing machine was a bonus. We have enjoyed Lac the Madine, aquapark and the tree climbing and ziplining, some small villages and my family. I highly recommend this house and will be happy to stay here again😃

A very nice stay in this large house (castle? ) ideal for a weekend with friends or family. The fireplace was much appreciated. The kitchen is a bit small for a big group. 2 double beds are not really in bedrooms but rather mezzanines so less insulated from noise and light. Very nice bathrooms!

Pierre is great host. He is very friendly and there was always good communication with him, both via the Airbnb chat and at the location itself. He also lives behind the property. The airbnb was very spacious, with a gigantic garden that we were able to use well with a barbecue. We did not read the listing properly and were shocked when it turned out that there was a dry toilet. But this was our own fault. Pierre does advertise this very clearly. However, be warned if you do not read the listing properly but the reviews do! Additional costs of 5 euros per sheet were also a surprise for us. Especially since they practically all had some stains that we were quite disappointed with. The next morning, Pierre got us a new one. Also, he didn't have towels or bath towels, something I'm used to getting to an airbnb. Pierre also provided this upon request. Great stay, can recommend it!

Excellent location, with all the comforts. Large front and backyard with facilities such as a 4-person jacuzzi, table tennis and boules court. Host is particularly attentive and responds very quickly to questions. From this location it does take some travel time to get to cities such as Reims and Verdun (about 1 hour), but the landscape is rolling and varied. All in all had a great stay here.

Great stay that allowed us to breathe out of our hectic lifestyle. The hosts were super friendly and responsive. The visit of their dairy farm with our 5-year-old son was great as well as the participation in the trafficking. We will surely come back on the best days:)

Diane’s house was a real ‘home from home’. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We were a mixed age group taking part in a local hot air balloon festival and it was perfect for all of us. We cooked lots of meals and there were all of the facilities we needed. The area was quiet (perfect), but only a short hop from lots of things to do. Diane was a really helpful and considerate host. The children particularly enjoyed the madeleines left for us, while the adults were grateful for the wine. Thank you Diane. Would highly recommend. 😊

We had a great stay at this beautiful place by the lake. It's a very calm place but still very close to the town center with supermarket and everything you need. Also some very nice walks close by. Nancy was a great host and everything we needed for a great stay was present in the house.

Excellent stay with Nathalie. Generous cottage, very well equipped, comfortable. Perfect for our large family of 14. Two equipped kitchens, three shower rooms, several small living rooms and a large living room, and yet you don't feel at all in a home for communities Pleasant terrace with great views of the garden ponds. Doing a few small boat rides was very nice. Very natural and perfectly quiet surroundings. Beautiful walks from the cottage to Lake Bairon.

Had wonderful days in Hugo's beautiful house. We were fortunate so early in the spring that we had beautiful weather so also super enjoy the beautiful garden. Lovely quiet area, beautiful things seen and the house is really beautifully decorated. Kitchen with everything to cook because there are no restaurants nearby. Beds and bathrooms are also great! To get the house warm during this period was a challenge, fortunately we are used to burning on wood. All in all wonderful!!!

A very nice circus wagon in an amazing landscape. An absolute dream for bird lovers. The circus wagon is very cozy and functionally furnished. Chantal is very nice and accompanied us well. The highlight was the sauna, which you can rent. We will be happy to come back. Thanks to Chantal for the hospitality.

we had a pleasant stay in Brouennes, the apartment met our expectations: both in the evening and during the day very quiet. the apartment is a good starting point for walks and the citadel can montmedy. otherwise it is an excellent bike place

We had a lovely time at the farm. It is very pleasant to be able to visit the animals, take a break at home and go back, especially with a child. The staff is very friendly and included us in farm life. The accommodation is functional, although we are on the farm and there are little animals everywhere:) For the farm experience, I recommend it!

What a nice getaway! The area is fabulous for a peaceful and quite weekend. The cabin is cozy and perfect for an escape from reality. The view is spectacular during the day and especially at night. Our dogs enjoyed this place so much, with lots of space to explore. Gilles was very helpful and friendly, we would definitely want to go back soon!

Lou's house is ideal for staying in the Toul area. The listing's photos and description clearly show what this rental is offering. Especially the swimming pool, terrace with barbecue, home theater, and pool table make it an extraordinary place to have fun with friends or family. I would recommend this place and its warm and welcoming owner.

Beautiful surroundings, the cottage is located next to a beautiful chateaux (castle), it is a refurbished barn, very spacious, warm by underfloor heating downstairs, 3 bathrooms (!) and suitable for the disabled. Very neat and equipped with everything. Perfect for with children through a large trampoline, huge lawn, beautiful forest to walk through on private grounds of the castle. Unfortunately, the pool was still closed, the tennis court was quite outdated but, after some attention, can still be used well. Everything is a little dated but still usable. The area is very deserted, the village is quiet and feels a bit deserted. And also restaurants (10-50 minutes drive) must be called in advance because are not always open!
