Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Welcome to our cozy tree top cabin, built from recycled materials - 6.2 m above the ground. The cottage overlooks the fields, is isolated, has electricity, heating, a kitchenette and a comfortable sofa that becomes a small double bed. Enjoy the two terraces and running water in the treetop and toilet with sink below the cabin. Possibility of additional purchase: Breakfast (175 kr/2 pers.) - wilderness bath (350 kr) or one of our 2 outdoor 'escape rooms' (150 kr/ children, 200 kr/ adults). The calendar is opened continuously!

The house has 2 good bedrooms, a completely refurbished bathroom and a large and cosy fully renovated kitchen/living room with fireplace. Sofa can also be converted to 2 sleeping places, if the need is 6 overnight. From two lovely wooden terraces and the large plot the sun can be enjoyed from early morning to late evening.

The house is decorated in modern beach house style – ”simple living” with a great amount of charm and a personal touch! The House is located on a 3.600 square meters plot, where the 2.000 square meters are beach and sea. The beach is private (though the public has access). But since it is private and there is no big parking lot you'll mostly have the beach to yourself!

The house is located in beautiful quiet natural surroundings down to Esrum Å. From the house there are views of the garden, river and fields. Next to the house is the main house where sometimes there can be someone. The house is nice with a nice kitchen and bathroom and everything a house should have. 10 min walk from lovely sandy beach. There is free access to kayaks, sup, firepit, bikes and fishing poles. New VILDMARKSBAD and ICE BATH are for a fee.
