Really lovely stay! Beautiful views and hosts were incredibly welcoming and generous with the outside spaces we could use. A few building works ongoing (no noise just visible) but did not detract from the stay and we had a really brilliant time - would very much recommend, home very well equipped and brilliant communication with hosts for any issues or questions.

We’ve had an amazing stay with friends and toddlers. The house was perfect for cooking and social evenings. Lovely summer house on Stora Aspö

It was a wonderful stay with our three kids at the summer house on Stora Aspön. It is such a peaceful island with the houses located in the premium spot of the island with sun on the porch all day and right next to the north bay. During our stay it was perfectly sheltered from the south and west winds, which allowed for relaxed swimming and all three kids learning not only to row but also sailing in the little kids dinghy. I definitely recommend to book the boats, which are also essential for shopping and exploring the seemingly endless world of islands. Eleonor and her family were very nice and helpful to us when we had some questions. Thank you very much for everything!

A gorgeous, peaceful personal home with all the amenities you need in a country house. A short drive to a small beach and dock to jump from. A Swedish dream. Great for a family or a group of friends. Loved the cliffs on the property. Free car ferries take you from main land to this island (Yxlan) and also further out to the next island (Blidö). Thank you Christelle! Andra gången i sjöstugan och vi kommer gärna tillbaka. Otroligt mysig, fantastiskt läge och underbart att komma ifrån stan ett tag. Joe fick oss att känna och väldigt välkomna och bad till och med grannen stänga av sin hög-frekvens fågelskrämma åt oss. Tack!

Archipelago idyll with private dock and lake plot

Vi hade 5 fantastiska dagar på detta magiska ställe! Boendet ligger lugnt och fridfullt precis vid vattnet. För oss med små barn var det helt perfekt eftersom allt fanns på tomten: massor av roliga saker för barnen, egen strand och brygga, bastu och kanoter. Vi plockade blåbär och smultron i skogen intill och gjorde en utflykt till Blidö krog och bistro men i övrigt var vi fullt nöjda med att hänga på denna fina plats. Huset är verkligen fullt utrustat med det mesta och smakfullt och snyggt renoverat i toppskick med fantastisk utsikt över vattnet. Vi var 6 vuxna och 3 små barn och det kändes ändå rymligt. Per-Oscar och Gisela var enkla att kommunicera med och Giselas mamma mötte upp oss vid ankomst och visade oss runt. De var generösa med att låna ut både barnstolar och leksaker och lät oss utnyttja kryddträdgård och plocka jordgubbar. Stället överträffade helt klart alla våra förväntningar!
