This is an absolute gem of a place, we had such a great time, Sandra is extremely accommodating and wannyboy is always around if there’s a need or to offer help. We felt very comfortable and at home. The home is off the grid so you must be mindful of electricity and timings but it is absolutely worth the drive.

This was our second time here and again it was memorable experience for all the right reasons. The house is beautifully designed, spacious and clean and functionally well equipped. Joseph as always was exceptionally helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a private and beautiful location with the on-site expectations fully fulfilled. The staff are friendly and efficient. The multiple entertainment areas and very significant fridge space and facilities ensured our birthday celebration weekend was a smash hit for all. We missed not having a boat to enjoy the river more fully.

Amazing!!! George the housekeeper on premises was on point and was always there. Great for a family get together of 14-15 people and built in such a way that everyone has their own space with beautiful views of the dam. House and surrounding gardens are immaculate.

What a wonderful stay with the most awesome hosts. Not to forget about Feston (hopefully correct spelling) the most helpful , friendliest man I have ever met no matter the time. Had a lovely stay and definitely be going back Thanks to all the staff for making our stay very memorable

One of the most special little breaks we've had. Aloe Fjord is beautiful, the sunsets are magical, the quietness and calmness around you is surreal, and Amy is just absolutely gorgeous. Paula and her Husband the owners of Aloe Fjord are possibly the sweetest hosts we've ever met; they are so kind and caring; they welcomed us with open arms and helped and accommodated us with requests and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. We'll definitely make a point of it to visit more often.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The place was exactly as advertised and Christopher was very responsive when we had any queries. The house is beautiful and the area is peaceful. The only recommendation I have is to maybe have blinds in the rooms for some privacy ;) otherwise we had a lovely time!

We all had a wonderful stay at Peter and Sheelagh's place. Everything we expected and more. The location was perfect, peaceful and close to family . The property is well equipped, super clean and private. We were welcomed by Margaret who managed the property. What a wonderful lady, always a phone call or message away. She was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, it almost felt we left a family member behind on the day we left. Thank you for a wonderful stay at Henley River Lodge.
