We had a wonderful stay at the bluegill lake cabins! The location was perfect, with easy access to the lakes. The property was impeccably clean, and the host, Kevin, was incredibly helpful and responsive. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the spacious balcony where we could relax and enjoy the views. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to other travelers!"

We loved the cabin, everything was very quiet and relaxing, 100% privacy, simply spectacular, the perfect place to spend our anniversary, we loved it 🥂❤️

Went to Cici’s cabin for some fishing and was not disappointed. Ended up catching a 6.7 pound bass right off the dock and numerous large bluegills. I also enjoyed canoeing around the main pond and catching some smaller bass. The cabin was clean and inviting with everything I needed and Kevin made me feel right at home. I would definitely recommend Cici’ cabin and hope to return one day.

We had a great time at Whistling Duck Cabin. Peaceful with beautiful views! Exactly the kind of break we needed and enjoyed everyday fishing. Conveniently located for first Monday in Canton. Would definitely recommend!

Top notch! 10 stars! Was exactly what was needed. Peaceful, relaxing, clean. Very responsive host. We saw ducks fly in and land on the pond before leaving out. This is the place to stay to get leave your worries and troubles behind!

Kathy is an incredible host with a beautiful place to stay. we love the property, the chickens roaming around, the private little yard that came with the cabin. she even had a bowl of water on the front porch for our dog Beau when we arrived. highly recommend staying at the cabin especially if you're goin to this area for First Monday shopping and experiences! I have zero complaints about my stay at this beautiful cabin. It was very peaceful and quiet. If you’re someone who likes nature and loves to be surrounded by water, then this place is for you. I appreciated how quick Khira responded to any question that I had, and she was very flexible on my check in time. I felt right at home and stress free immediately. It also helps that the pictures give you an accurate image of what the place looks like. I will say that this place is in a small town so you will need to bring your own food. Luckily there was a Brookshires 2 miles away that had everything I needed. Overall I completely enjoyed my stay and I would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much Khira.

The house was very nice and clean and we had great communication from our host, Lupe. We were there for a fishing trip and the property was only a few minutes from the lake and it was perfect for our vehicles with boats. Also had multiple outdoor plugs for charging. Highly recommend this place for fishermen and we will definitely use again.

A little hard to find with Airb&b directions, but the owner provided the correct info. She met us at the cabin and was very helpful in giving us lots of tips. The roads are a bit rough on the Mountain, but they had recently had a really hard rain event. We felt very safe and enjoyed meeting some of the shop owners on the Mountain! You have to get the Italian Cream cake at the pie shop. You will not be disappointed 🥰

My husband and I had a last minute get away for a fishing trip. This place was perfect for the two of us! Nice and quaint little guest house with a great dock - Kerin was a wonderful host with great communication! Would recommend if you find yourself needing a place in the area!

This was our second time staying at, what we like to call, "The Catfish Cabin" and it did not disappoint. Nathalie is a wonderfil hostess who is super helpful and responsive. We will definitely be visiting again!

Cute rustic cottage in country setting. I recommend getting there in daylight for sure! There are 2 really friendly dogs on the place that are sweet as they can be! Very quiet and safe location

Kimberly’s place is absolutely fantastic! The ambiance is very peaceful and welcoming! The hosts were friendly, warm and treated me like family! I absolutely loved the spaciousness of the cottage as well as the pristine condition of the amenities. I loved relaxing on the spacious covered porch! This was definitely an elevated experience and I look forward to returning to this little slice of Heaven!

We absolutely loved this beautiful cabin on a beautiful private lake. I recommend this place to everyone I know. it was clean, peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. A 10/10 wonderful find!! We plan on making this an annual trip every fall. Mrs Jonell was a wonderful host and very responsive. The fishing was fun. The mornings listening to the pasture cattle and lake fowl were breath taking. Perfection!!

We loved the house We came for the total eclipse and to spend time relaxing with our friends, 2 families of 4, and getting to know the area while we were there. The Lone Star Lodge was a perfect home base. The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed, including extra pillows, blankets, and towels. The kitchen was well appointed with great appliances and every dish, utensil, and pan you could need. We enjoyed cooking family meals and hanging out around the big kitchen island. We loved the screened-in porch and big rocking chairs, especially during thunderstorms. Having the lake access so close was great and we spent hours fishing. The neighbors we met were all welcoming. The satellite internet access was slow. The hosts were super responsive. They put in an ISP service call, and it improved after that. Mineola, a 25-minute drive, offered shopping and dining options. We enjoyed a hike at Mineola Nature Preserve. The kids loved the location, pond, and lake.
