You will love this location. There is a coral reef right off the dock where you can snorkle and see all the colorful fish. We were able to have the tour companies pick us up for our excursions. We highly reccomend Noè Plantier for 4x4 island tour. Noè grew up on the island and we had an amazing day. Noè can be reached on face book vanilla 4x4 botanical excursions. We also highly recomend Nui with Watercolor fishing. Nui offers fishing excursions as well as water tours around the island.You can find him on face book watercolor sailing. I cant post contact details here but I will on other travel sites. Please note that you will need the host to arrage a taxi from the airport to the grocery store, and then arrange a water taxi to take you to the location. This will cost approx 23,000 xpf each way. Ensure to inquire about what essentials will be required for your stay including toilet paper and soap. The only transport is kyack or bikes if available to access the store.

My wife and I spent two weeks in French Polynesia, and visited four islands. Raiatea was our favourite and Thierry and his place are what truly made the difference. The location is stunning, with a beautiful deck right on the ocean, and the possibility to snorkel or kayak in the lagoon. The bungalow is exactly as described, it has a tropical and authentic vibe and has everything you need for a lovely stay. But the best thing was Thierry himself. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to share his culture and his knowledge of the place. He took us to a nearby motu for a fantastic morning of snorkelling and spearfishing, and made us some lovely meals. During our stay, we were also lucky to meet his family, and he invited us to join them for dinner as if we were part of them. Should we go back to Raiatea in the future, we have no doubt we will be staying at Le Noha again!

This place was just as advertised; we had a great time! If you are looking for a hopping nightlife and the bustle of town, this rental might not be right for you. If you are looking for a beautiful private secluded beach with easy access to kayak to the motu or snorkel the reef right out your front door, then this is the place for you. We had a great time snorkeling, kayaking, visiting the motu, watching the sun set and lightning strike when it was raining, and generally enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty Raiatea has to offer. We rented a car for some of our stay and crused the island to find a short hike here and there and we visited the pearl farm on the other side of the island. I recommend this site without any reservations as long as a quiet get away is your goal.

Logement top ! Je voulais de la tranquillité et c'est exactement ce que Françoise propose ! Ecoutez bien tous ses conseils (spécial clin d'œil pour toi Françoise) Propre, tout le nécessaire est présent, prêt de kayak et paddle très appréciable ! Le seul petit détail : Pensez aux boules quies, juste pour le passage des voitures tôt le matin (rare passage de voiture le reste de la journée). Mais même avec ce détail, j'ai passé un agréable et reposant séjour ! Merci Françoise pour tout et à la prochaine je l'espère.

Patrice et Sophie sont d’adorables hôtes attentionnés. Nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison dès l’arrivée sur l’île grâce a un super accueil. La logement est immergé dans un cadre idyllique et authentique loin des tumultes de la ville. À recommander (et à refaire!😁) les yeux fermés! Maruuru Sof & Pat, et peut être à une prochaine!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Anaïs et Grégory. Ce sont des hôtes vraiment accueillant et sympathiques. Le logement est propre et fonctionnel. Le petit + les vélos pour se déplacer mis à disposition gratuitement Et le gros + la terrasse aménagée pour avoir sa petite intimité avec une vue sublime sur Bora Bora. Un grand merci à eux. C’était TOP !

super séjour chez Valentin, il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut (même la machine a lavee !) de très bons conseils pour la location de la voitures, les activités. bon emplacement, proche du départ des taxi boat, magasin, marché.

Wow, what a place to stay! The views were unbelievable. You stay in a private bungalow that feels like you are in a tree house. You wake up every morning and get to look at a most amazing view of the ocean and see the sunrise. The amount of sea life we saw hanging out on the pontoon was unreal. The best thing about the place though is Tama and his family. They would give us suggestions of places to see, things todo and places to eat and every suggestion was great. When you stay here you don’t feel like a customer but part of their family. Tama and his family are the kindest people you will meet. I feel very lucky to have been able to stay at Tama’s place and experience Taha’a like I did. An unforgettable special vacation! We can’t wait for our next time here!
