Hiking and skiing trails are accessible directly around the corner from the house. To Åre it is about 25 minutes, Vålådalen about 30 minutes. In Ottsjö village there is ICA Bua, dog sledding, brewery, etc.

Just behind the house, there are several prepared cross-country trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails and proximity to fine fishing.
