Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Valençay

We absolutely loved this charming country cottage. It was the perfect retreat to return to after exploring the Loire Valley. Great location. Very private. Close to terrific restaurants. Daphné was a wonderful and helpful host.

The accommodation is well located close to Beauval Zoo and the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. The house is very well-equipped, with everything you need for a family with children (large gardens, enough to play football, basketball, petanque, table tennis, foosball, etc.). Two barbecues complete the set. The peaceful, quiet environment. The house is large enough to accommodate up to 12 people, but the rooms are open or connecting, which is important to know. Alain is a very nice and caring host. He was flexible on the checkout time. Thanks so much for hosting us!

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

The accommodation is as described, enough space for 7 people without any problems, a great large plot ideal with children and well shaded in case of high temperatures as we had, we did not meet the host physically but she responded very quickly each time to my messages, very responsive, everything went very well, we had a great time in a beautiful little house with everything you need inside, not very far from Beauval Zoo, which was the purpose of our stay, I would recommend this rental without any problems

we had a great time at Alicia's. the house is beautiful and very comfortable, large enough and equipped for a group with 5 adults and 3 children. the cleanliness is impeccable and the welcome is very nice and friendly. we found the perfect location for our weekend with friends. Thank you

Phenomenal in every way. Location, details, peacefulness, proximity to the castles of the area and charming cities and towns. 100% recommended. We have no words to thank the host Cécile for the effort she made to ensure that before we arrived, the land was completely fenced so we could stay with our dog. We had a great time walking and reading in the beautiful living room of the apartment, which overlooks the gardens of the castle. The room is very nice and the bedding is very good. I would highly recommend it!

Great authentic accommodation with a lot of charm, right in the middle of Blois.

Our 2 nights in Blois we made extra special with our stay at this AirBnb. Perfect location a block or 2 away from all the restaurants, shopping and chateau’s. Plenty of amenities and everything was exactly as listed. It was lovely to have coffee in the morning on the cute patio while we planned our day. Thanks again Eddy. Note: if you are driving, the parking spot for this AirBnb courtyard is little. Large cars or SUV’s will need to find street parking. That being said our mid-sized rental fit and it was nice to park secure behind a locked gate.

Very nice apartment, spacious, bright, well-equipped and above all very conveniently located in the center of Blois. We were able to enjoy our short stay in Blois entirely on foot. Morgan was responsive and responded quickly to our messages. The instructions are perfectly clear and accurate. Thanks also for the restaurant suggestions in the area. I would recommend this place without reservation!

Very good apartment in awesome city! The only thing to complain about was fridge - the ice cream was ruined :) not a dealbreaker in any case though. Otherwise everything was perfect. Thank you!

We had a great week! The house is perfectly equipped , the air conditioning was very useful the first 2 days of our stay. We enjoyed the pool greatly. Beautiful English garden. The walks along the expensive river are very soothing.

Very nice home in an environment very close to nature. Beautiful walks in the woods and by ponds. We had a great long weekend with the family. We were 14 adults and the house is very large so we had plenty of space. The very spacious rooms and 3 bathrooms are ideal and a very well-equipped kitchen. I recommend it for lovers of the woods. See you next time, maybe in summer to enjoy the pool.

From the first contacts, everything was perfect. Carmen, who has always been very responsive and responded to any requests we had. Listing is as described. Villa Verde is a spacious, comfortable and peaceful place. It is nestled in the middle of a huge wooded lot and very well maintained by the hosts, perfect for letting the children let off steam. We felt right at home during this short stay. We would definitely recommend Carmen's house for a visit to Beauval Zoo, for example, which is 20 minutes away

We had a bachelorette party in this house and to start the house is just wow... whether it's the pool, jacuzzi inside the house everything is well thought out and very functional!! We were delighted and had no regrets about our choice because it completely matched our expectations... and finally the owners are very kind, welcoming and explain everything you need to know very well. Thank you for being so responsive and accommodating!! We highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed with your stay!!

We had a 3-day stay at this lovely well-equipped house. There's plenty to do between games and amenities. The location is very peaceful with the small lake and the singing of birds and frogs. The hot tub is great. We'll be back to test the outdoor pool. Recommended! Thanks to Cedric for his responsiveness and to Chantal for hosting us in person!

The house is really superb, very well renovated and clean. It is very well-equipped and the quality of the services is excellent (swimming pool, sports field, bbq, darts, ping-pong, billiards, foosball...). We had a great time.
