The cottage has running cold and hot water. The water is drinkable. Also an indoor toilet and shower. Wood sauna with a beautiful view of the pond. There are kitchen furnishings like a refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, water, and coffee maker. There's also a washer. Sunlight comes to the cabin throughout the day.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

In shed and cellar you find all other stuff needed.

Experience the true traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total silence and peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. Good 4G connection!

Peaceful Finnish cottage in the heartland of Saimaa, only 11 kms away from the town centre of Savonlinna. You can enjoy total serenity and swim on a private beach. The compact house has a fold-out sofa downstairs and two beds upstairs. A spacious sauna is a joy to relax in and has washing amenities. A large terrace has a barbecue grill and a dining table, where you can enjoy stunning views of the lake while enjoying your food. The outhouse is situated next to the main building.

The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Rowing boat in use. Additional fee of €70 for use of the hot tub. Bring your own linens and towels. However, in an exceptional situation, linens can be arranged from the place to stay with a separate fee.

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Willa Rautalahti luxury getaway

A kind, spacious house away from the hustle and bustle on the shore of the lake. 2 saunas (one in the house, one on the shore, but quite untidy). Luxurious view from the windows, nice patio/terrace, large and well-maintained area nearby. A great place to connect with nature, the nearest supermarket is about 10 km away. Of the disadvantages, water from the tap is unacceptable for drinking water from the tap (only with you!), due to the increased iron content, all plumbing looks extremely untidy. More than a meager BBQ area - 2 dirty chairs and a barbecue are very old, tiny and killed by life (there is also gas from the hosts, but without gas), and clearly brought by tourists. There are logs, but there is no axe. There are no less, the hosts are very pleasant and friendly people, and if you take into account all the disadvantages and prepare for them in advance, you will have a wonderful time. Everything went as expected, a beautiful and clean place where it was nice to relax. Of course, we expected to have been able to do outdoor activities, but the beautiful outdoor terrain worked just as well!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property, and I can't say enough good things about it! The highlight of our stay was definitely the cute sauna house, which provided a perfect way to relax and unwind. The private entrance to the lake was another fantastic feature, offering serene and beautiful views right at our doorstep and a memorable experience of swimming in the lake after the Sauna. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive to all our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable.

This cottage is super nice, located near lake in the wilderness, I can only highly recommend!

We spent a summer vacation with our family (two adults and three children) in Villa Mummola. The stay exceeded all our expectations! The house was really clean and entertaining, everything we needed was found. The sauna heated up in an instant and gave a good steam. The location was very good, we found all the services of Summer Village nearby. We recommend without reservation!
