Family-friendly vacation rentals in Utrecht

This is such a special place! We absolutely loved our stay - it was the perfect place to unwind, slow down and be still. Rob was a great host and made us feel really at home . I highly recommend staying in Robs house and we’re keen to return!!

The house was exactly as described. The location is amazing, and the patio is out of this world. We had a great time!

We had a wonderful weekend at the location :) The host Stefanie was really helpful with all our questions and everything was communicated clearly upfront by the owners.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit den Fahrrädern konnte man die nahe gelegene Metrostation gut erreichen und wir haben eine gute Zeit in Amsterdam gehabt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer gut erreichbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für Amsterdam Aufenthalte sehr empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser großzügigen und gemütlichen Villa in Utrecht. Die Wohnung strahlt eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Utrecht hat viel zu bieten, und von der Unterkunft aus ist vieles fußläufig, mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto leicht zu erreichen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber dennoch nahe an allem, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Süßes Häuschen in einer tollen Anlage. Perfekt, wenn man Ruhe sucht und entspannen möchte. Tolle Aufteilung für 4 Personen, man hat zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem Bad (Dusche & WC). Sauna und Whirlpool im Garten, mega!

Heel prettige communicatie en Margreet was makkelijk bereikbaar, fijne plek, sauna makkelijk in gebruik. Veel (zonnige) zitjes id tuin, fijn huiselijk en schoon huisje, in realiteit voelt het wat ruimer aan. In de buurt mooie wandelingen gemaakt. Je loopt zo het dorp in voor restaurant, supermarkt of vers brood.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem ruhigen Haus. Schöner Garten und Sauna und Hotpot sind prima. Der Kontakt mit Margreet war sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Die Betten im Kinderzimmer sind sehr schmal, für Erwachsene eher nicht so gut. Uns wars egal, nur zur Info. Insgesamt kann ich das Haus sehr empfehlen.

I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

We had a lovely time on Peter's houseboat. The location is great. Only a 15 minute walk to the station and the center yet incredibly peaceful. Everything we needed was available and we enjoyed the first rays of the spring sun on the dock in front of the houseboat. The daily visit from a group of geese was quite the highlight for our little boy. Peter welcomed us when we first arrived and was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. We explored the corners of Utrecht and beyond with the bike and can only recommend this lovely city. So many beautiful historic buildings, lovely canals and quaint little cafes and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Szybka komunikacja z gospodarzem, wszystko zgodnie z opisem. wygodny parking i połączenie drogowe z innymi miejscowościami. Bardzo dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. kompletne wyposażenie apartamentu.

Ugoszczenie przez Panią Trienie było jak ze snu. Bardzo miło nas przywitała, oprowadziła po domku i zaproponowała różne atrakcje. Jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni za taką gościnność i życzliwość. Okolica jest piękna - pełno zieleni, wiejskie zwierzęta tylko uzupełniały ten cudowny krajobraz. Domek - bardzo przytulny i czysty. Miejsce miało dla nas wszystko czego potrzeba do codziennego funkcjonowania. Jesteśmy oczarowani wszystkim co zobaczyliśmy w okolicy i na pewno wrócimy na, mam nadzieję dłuższy pobyt. Dziękujemy!

Wir waren jahrelang auf einem Hausboot in Amsterdam, das der Eigentümer mittlerweile aber selbst bewohnt und nicht mehr vermietet. Also haben wir uns nach einer Alternative in der "kleineren Schwester" Utrecht umgesehen und sind bei Pauline und Raymond gelandet. Das Boot liegt in einem Vorort von Utrecht, ist aber mit dem Bus gut zu erreichen (fährt alle 15 min) und liegt sehr schön in der Natur. Wir waren zu viert und hatten viel Platz, konnten sowohl unter als auch auf Deck gut sitzen, das Badezimmer ist für ein Hausboot geradezu riesig, die Betten super, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Der einzige Wehmutstropfen war für uns, dass wir in Nieuwegein kein vernünftiges Café oder Restaurant gefunden haben, aber schließlich wollten wir ja Utrecht erkunden, und dafür ist die Lage gut. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir wohl bald mal wieder hinfahren werden. Vielen Dank an Pauline und Raymond!

Wir hatten 4 sehr schöne Tage in der idyllischen Umgebung und dem sehr schönen Haus. Wir waren dort zu fünf und hatten auch einen Hund dabei. Das hat alles super gepasst. Auch mit dem Boot zum Häuschen fahren und die Gegend erkunden hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Wir würden auf jeden Fall gerne mal wieder kommen. Liebe Grüße und vielen Dank. Familie Winkler

Sehr schön gelegenes Ferienhaus am Wasser, ruhig und privat. Gute möglichkeit um Amsterdam zu erkunden und dann abends zu relaxen. Uns hat es sehr gefallen beim schönen Wetter am Kanal zu sitzen. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

We really enjoyed our stay - peaceful beautiful area, we loved our breakfasts in the sun and the coziness of the house - it had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy too. Would definitely recommend!

Super Unterkunft und super Gastgeber . Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß sind haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war mit dem Boot erreichbar und wir konnten mit dem Boot einkaufen fahren. Es war ein echtes Abenteuer. Der Unterkunft sowie der Pool war sauber. Hat alles gepasst für uns ☀️

The place was nice, equipped with loads of kids activities, nice lake, and play area. We really enjoyed our stay. On arrival couple of things were missing, but Karsten responded immediately. I would definitely recommend and would plan for long stay in future.

My friend and I really enjoyed the stay at Wouter’s place. It’s only 15 minutes cycling to the city centre and lovely park near by. Nice and clean house and a wee kitchen. Wouter and his wife are very nice and friendly people. Highly recommend this place but much better if you have a car.

Excellent séjour à 2 familles. Le jardin avec la vue sur le lac juste magique. Très calme. En pleine nature et malgré tout à proximité des commerces et restaurants. Merci pour le prêt des vélos et du bateau. C’était génial de se déplacer sur l’eau. La région est magnifique et à distance raisonnable de différentes villes à visiter . Floris est un hôte attentionné ( décoration pour Pâques, cadeaux de bienvenue..) et a répondu dans la journée à nos messages. La maison était très spacieuse et très propre. Charme authentique d’une vieille ferme. Merci pour ce vrai break

Great mix between a very livable place to stay and a bucket list experience. Easy to cook, quiet nights, cozy! We stayed 10 days and enjoyed Utrecht as our NL base. Responsive and nice host, who has great info and recommendations in her guest book. Easy (25-min walk) to get to the historic center. Host also provided 2 city bikes, making it so easy to get around. We came by car but didn't need to use it due to walkability of everything. Houseboat is very well designed - it's small but there is organized and efficient space for everything you might need, without sacrificing hominess. Woodstove with plenty of wood and the huge windows overlooking the water make for a very serene stay. We're full time travelers by car in EU/UK/Balkans for over 4 years
