Family-friendly vacation rentals in Utopia

We enjoyed spending the weekend in Laura’s home! It’s a perfect getaway to unwind and relax. We felt right at home & look forward to visit again!

Tim’s place (Rio Bajo) was very delightful! We enjoyed sun bathing by the river, watching Tim’s bird feeder attract many cardinals and all sorts of beautiful birds, hot tub time, star glazing and so much more! Thank you Tim for sharing your beautiful place with us!🙂

The love shack was perfect for a weekend away! We grilled, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed by the fire ring and on the back porch with gorgeous views. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, from fire wood for the fire ring to k cups for the coffee pot, and lots of clean towels. We came down for a motorcycle rally, and scenic rides, but this was such a perfect little cabin, that we will absolutely be back. The host was thorough with the instructions, and super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We were secluded but not too far from grocery stores or restaurants, they were just a little drive away. The bed was SO comfortable too, we both slept great! We had a wonderful time here at the love shack, and can’t wait to come back.

Such an incredible stay! A true gem. The pics and description don’t do the home its full justice. Perched above Helotes, Julia’s place was peaceful and picture perfect. I was in town for a (relatively) quick business trip and this was the perfect spot to relax at the end of a few busy days. I didn’t have time to enjoy the pool area but it looked spectacular. Would absolutely stay here again.

WOW! This Hacienda style dwelling was exactly what we wanted to stay at in San Antonio.Absolutely gave you the flavor we needed to make our visit authentic feeling.Having a great Mexican restaurant( El Chaparral )a mile away was a bit of magic also. Pool is large & rooms were cozy.Details were obvious everywhere.Thank You so much for the memories.

Vicky and Micky work hard to keep guests happy. I arrived right after Texas had record breaking cold temperatures, it hadn't been that cold since the 1800s. Naturally, this created some issues that were completely out of their control but Vicky and Micky worked hard to ensure all guests were taken care of. I wasn't able to get the cabin I reserved at first but they were able to move me into it a couple of days later. They worked hard to make up for the change in venue. Each of the cabins are a little different and have different stand out features. I was going to be working during my stay and the Lone Star cabin looked like a good fit. Its comfortable, peaceful, has good wi-fi and looks great. It is also set up well for a larger group. I loved the goats, pigs and donkeys freely roaming around. They are very dog friendly which was a major deciding factor for me. There are tons of add ons to cater to all kinds of experiences.

We loved Malibu Ranch! Our kids loved the pool and the pool table— it was very peaceful and beautiful. We look forward to staying here again

The views and the rustic home were amazing. It was a perfect place for our family if 5 and the porch was an amazing place to sit and drink coffee in the morning. I fully recommend staying here.

We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. The Cabin is super cute and secluded in beautiful Texas Hill Country. Everything you need has been thoughtfully provided. There is a full size kitchen and plenty of space to relax on the couch or beds all in one open space. Kathleen left lovely notes for places to go and thing's to do. I thoroughly enjoyed the property and the beautiful landscape. We spent our weekend hiking, exploring and driving the Twisted Sister's back roads soaking up the country views. My favorite part of our stay was watching the hummingbirds and wildlife off the back porch. Very peaceful and serene. We brought our dog with us as well, so pet friendly! Utopia is a cute place and super tiny! Be sure if you're staying a while to stock up a cooler and plan to cook! Everything you need is in the kitchen. I definitely recommend and give 5 stars and will be planning to go again!

Beautiful home home and nice stay

Great stay near Bandera. Very close to restaurants, groceries. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are very comfortable, and the huge porch is the best for star/deer watching.

It was just what we always look for in a rental. very secluded, quiet and felt like we were the only ones there. It was also close to some great places to grab a bite to eat.

The property is located in a peaceful setting with a nearby creek that adds to the quiet atmosphere. The house has a practical layout, with bedrooms on either side of a shared bathroom. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are part of an open floor plan, making the space easy to use. Both the front patio and the back sitting area are comfortable and well-suited for relaxing. Cheryl was very responsive and attentive. I would stay here again! Thanks for the peaceful vacation!

Everything about Tom’s property was perfect. There are a lot of things to do on the property. Tom has extremely well-written and detailed instructions for any question you might have. The place is very well stocked with absolutely anything you might need. Tom was an extremely kind and responsive host. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable time Tom!!!

We didn’t realize the hot and cold faucets in bathroom were reversed. Vicki stated that in book and my husband and I missed that bit of information when we read book. Cabin was charming and very peaceful.

Beautiful place. Beautiful view. Tons of fun things to do. *I totally missed in the description that it’s a studio space with a Queen Murphy bed. It turned out fine, but that was a surprise.

We had a great time! The unit was very clean, and staff at the resort were very kind and helpful. The only bit of confusion that we had was that we weren’t renting a specific unit. This is a timeshare, so you are assigned a unit at check-in. The pictures are stock pictures. Overall, we had a wonderful time and were very happy with the accommodations!
