Living Quechua in Casa de Sonia

AmberRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a lovely stay! Sonia was so welcoming and she made us feel right at home. Breakfast was good but unfortunately we all had altitude sickness but Sonia did whatever she could to make us feel better. She did a lovely demonstration on weaving and yarn making/dying. She has a shop full of lovely items. Would recommend for a small town local feel outside of the bigger cities. Would recommend for the lovely hospitality and home feeling. There were plenty of blankets for warmth. No heat in the spaces but we stayed warm. Sonia helped get a taxi for us to get to our next location. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again.
The common area features comfortable seating arrangements with dark leather sofas and a wooden coffee table. A reception desk displays a floral arrangement, while dining tables are set in the background. Natural light enhances the open layout, creating a welcoming environment.

Homestay with famous Textile Wara women

HeidiRating, 5 stars35 months ago
This was one of the highlights of our month in Peru! It's just a beautiful spot. Chinchero is cold and there is no heat, but Ruth's beds are nice and warm. Very clean. They even got hot water for our showers (they normally shower in cold water). We loved learning about how she makes colors for weaving, and she took us out to the country to cut grass for the guinea pigs - very fun and interesting. On Sunday we went to the market with her sister and niece and got to watch them trade potatoes with women who brought fruit from the jungle. It was beautiful. The Inca ruins in Chinchero are beautiful, and I wish we'd made time to hike all the way to the waterfall. Was sad to leave here!
A cozy seating area features two wooden chairs and a small table, positioned against a vibrant green wall. Soft white cushions add comfort to the chairs. A bookshelf stands nearby, filled with various books, while a small plant decorates the table, enhancing the inviting space.

KASAS OF THE INKA- MARRIAGE

DadeipRating, 5 stars7 months ago
It was a nice place to spend a night in Aguas Calientes. The location is central in the village, close to restaurants and hot springs. Everything was clean and clean. In addition, they were very friendly in allowing us to store our luggage after check-out while we were going to Machu Picchu, and they also allowed us to use the room while it was time to take the train back to Cusco.
A variety of breakfast items are displayed. A bowl filled with puffed grains sits in front, complemented by two pitchers containing drinks—one orange juice and another pink beverage—alongside a glass of dark liquid. A basket of fresh bread is also visible.

American breakfast included and private bathrooms

BrandtRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This is a hostel but was perfect. Our family of six stayed in two, three bed rooms (each with their own bathroom). We only had a one night stay and it was the perfect place to lay our heads before heading up to Machu Picchu. Breakfast was good. Sheets were clean. Highly recommend this for a quick in and out.

Peru Quechua's Lodge - Double

Loved staying here. Sad we only stayed four nights!! Beds are comfortable. Views are amazing. Breakfast is delightful and yummy and filling. Coffee is fabulous. Lovely town. But best of all, Stan and Edith are two of the nicest people you could hope to meet! They helped us over and over again. We loved our tour that they arranged as well.

We loved the view from our room! And Joe, the person at the front desk, was extremely nice. He even helped us bring our luggage down! It is a hard climb but it's definitely worth it, and the breakfast was also great!

Parwa Guest House: Calm, Comfort and Views

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Ollantaytambo is a beautiful town and Jorge’s place was the perfect place to explore it from. The view outside our window was breathtaking and the river running across the street lulled us to sleep every night. Our room was clean, quiet and cozy. The provided breakfast was a great way to start each day. Jorge was always helpful with recommendations or calling a cab. If we ever return to Ollantaytambo, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else!
