Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom quaint craftsman home is in downtown Urbana. The home has been restored to the era of when Roger Ebert lived there — according to details in chapter 1 of his autobiography, “Life Itself.” We're a 12-minute drive to downtown Champaign + a 5 minute drive to the U of I campus. We're happy to host families, too! Find a Mid Century Modern style complete with books written by Ebert; his school yearbooks from Urbana High; + more Illini and Urbana-centric nostalgia.

A charming colonial-style house features white siding and contrasting black shutters. Two prominent stories are highlighted by symmetrical windows, and a set of stairs leads to the entrance. Surrounding greenery adds a touch of color, enhancing the inviting exterior.

Our farm home, situated on 4 acres, is located just 25 minutes from the University of Illinois and Illini sports! I-57, I-74, and I-72 are all close by. The house has a fully furnished large kitchen with a coffee bar. Two living areas provide plenty of space to stretch out. You can finish off your busy day gathering on the patio preparing dinner on the gas or charcoal grills, watching the sun set over the summer grain fields, or roasting marshmallows around the firepit.
