Cottage in Ballyquin, Ardmore, Co Waterford

This place was just what we needed - a place that felt like home with easy beach access in a quiet location. Even on a busy (beach) weekend, the noise did not reach us. Grainne was very accommodating and took us in on very short notice. She was very flexible and saved our day. We did not want to leave! The house has all the amenities you needo n a holiday, we loved the deep window sills which our teenager loved to sit in and read. The beds were comfy and we slept very well. Can only highly recommend a stay and would love to go back there for a longer visit.

Peaceful and tranquil stone cottage

Had an absolutely fantastic stay. Very peaceful. Could walk to Youghal though it’s a bit uphill on way back. Sheila is lovely host and made sure we had all we needed, including apple pie. Warm and cosy house with lovely feeling. Would recommend Youghal- there is more to it than meets the eye, worth exploring and definitely visit The Nook for live music on Thursday. Wonderful place to stay. Thank you.

Thanks so much for the stay in your beautiful house. It's so bright, spotlessly clean and kitted out with everything we needed. It's in a calm and peaceful location, only a few mins walk to a gorgeous beach and about 5 mins drive to Ardmore.

House with sea views Ardmore

UtaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very peaceful, quiet location with great views. I love the style of the house, the colours, the feel of home, the various teapots, there even is a coffee grinder for those who live their coffee freshly ground. Lots to do in terms of beaches, great restaurant in Ardmore, driveable to Lismore with magnificent castle and gardens. The host was very responsive, great communication. There are drinks, milk, tea, some tins.... Bring your own bread and butter. Supermarkets in Dungarvan or Youghal. Beds are comfy too. Walk in shower. We loved it.
Colorful beach huts with red roofs and blue exteriors are positioned alongside a wooden boardwalk. The sandy beach extends to the horizon, while the calm water reflects the clear sky. Soft sunlight bathes the scene, creating a serene beachfront environment.

Panoramic Sea Views in Ardmore Village

JonathanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed for a week at this modern, clean house in Ardmore, Ireland, and it was an incredible experience. The house offers amazing views of the town, the hillside, and the bay, giving you that perfect Irish landscape right outside your window. The host was proactive with all communication, providing everything we needed to know. They even had a comprehensive book with recommendations for things to do and see around Ardmore. The amenities were top-notch. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Both bathrooms were in excellent condition, and the three bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of linens. Everything was spotless and well-organized. One of the highlights was the stunning cliff walk right by the house, offering breathtaking views that perfectly capture the essence of Ireland. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ardmore. It was such a wonderful stay, and we’d love to return if we get the chance!
