We enjoyed staying in Tita Cha's place. She is very attentive and helpful with all our needs. She also helped us with transpo around the area. The property has a peaceful charm with a relaxing atmosphere, a private pool, karaoke, and beautiful surroundings—ideal if you’re looking to completely unplug and stay put. However, our experience was mixed due to several factors that future guests should be aware of. The biggest challenge was the location. The house is remote and not listed in the city’s tourism directory, making it hard for local transport providers to locate. Accessibility is heavily impacted by the tides—depending on the time of day, getting in and out requires a flat boat (at an extra fee), which felt like a charge that should have been included in the price. While island hopping was available, it came at an additional cost, and leaving the property for any activities required extra planning and expense. If you’re not planning to explore and are content staying at the property, this might not be an issue—but it’s something to keep in mind.

The room is clean and has its own comfort room. It's also perfect for someone working from home because they offer free Wi-Fi. If you're planning an island or day tour on a budget, I would definitely recommend Charito's Airbnb. It's only about 15 minutes by tricycle to Alibojod Cove. It’s better to rent a motorbike at Jaro Wharf upon arrival, since transportation in the area is mostly by tricycle, which can be a bit pricey. Another good thing is that there’s a restaurant and a sari-sari store right in front of the Airbnb. However, if you're someone who loves snacks and extras, I’d suggest bringing your own before heading to Guimaras, as the stores there have limited stock. Overall, our experience with Nanay Charito was superb! She is very accommodating, always willing to help, gives great suggestions, and is always smiling. We will definitely come back and recommend her Airbnb—it really feels like home. 🏠❤️

Staying at Charito's during my time in Guimaras was fantastic. I felt like the location was great as it's near a lot of the beaches and some restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay at Makarios! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was so peaceful and calming – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The food was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always friendly and helpful. Our room was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped with all the amenities we could need. We needed a break, and Makarios delivered exactly what we were looking for: pure relaxation. A highlight was the fantastic feeding and fishing experience – the chef even cooked our catch! It was so yummy and fresh. The calming ambiance, delicious food, and friendly service created the perfect escape. Highly recommended!
