Beautiful and quiet place. The fridge could have been a bit better. In summary, we had a good time.

Micaela’s house is beautiful facing a stunning beach. Chinga welcomed us and let us in earlier than expected, which was a huge relief. He was incredibly responsive and helpful - always popped round when we needed him. Asante Chinga! Halima cooked us a lovely breakfast. We also had a great massage. We enjoyed the Yoga Bar, Imani Beach Hotel breakfast and a couple of good dinners at Zan View. The house is stylish, the sand garden delightful and through the tiny gate you are already on the beautiful beach. Definitely recommend!

Patrick was the best host we had in Sansibar. A friend of mine and I are travelling the island and Patrick was very kind and helpful, he booked us a Safari. Thanks for that 🙏🏻 Its nice to talk with him and he also cooked rice and beans for us which was very tasty!! Definitely recommend to stay in this apartment. We had a wonderful stay at Othman's home. It was the perfect peaceful retreat after our safari. It is very close to the beach and has its own beautiful garden. Othman is a very welcoming host and has many recommendations for both the local area and other parts of Zanzibar.

We were very warmly welcomed at the property by the entire team. Said had organized the transfer from the airport well and cheaply for us. Fitina & Juma & Basibwa were extremely accommodating and organized excursions (boat tours, village tour) as well as shopping. Wonderful! We really enjoyed your attention and connections. We felt safe at all times! The cute beachfront bungalow is simple and equipped with basic amenities. The kitchen is outdoors and has everything you need. The simplicity is the charm, the proximity to the sea, the large private area invites you to linger and relax. Here you live with the tides of the water and resonate with the philosophy of the locals… without frills but with a lot of heart. Let yourself be pampered by master chef Ali Baba or Youssouf. They're happy if you are. An absolute recommendation for people who want to live the African mentality: HAKUNA MATATA

Excellent hosting by Liza & Nialam, who run the hotel. Very warm & attentive to us during these 2 weeks. Functional and very pleasant accommodation. Air conditioning appreciated in the room. A strong smell upon arrival from the refrigerator evaporation tray. Problem quickly resolved at our request by Liza and Nialam. Very, very hard mattress. Huge and very good breakfast, drink, fresh fruit, fruit juice, omelette, bread and pancakes. We ate several times at the pier, good & fair price as well as at once again fast-food, very affordable local restaurant. We fished & swam from the beach but the barrier remains very far from the beach edge & inaccessible even at low tide. We did several scuba dives with ONE OCEAN recommended by the host & it was really great! Support & Professionalism+++. Quiet. Covered & shaded terrace much appreciated. 1 great stay. Thanks to this great team.

Great stay overall . This room as compared to the ocean view that we stayed at prior in the same villas is identical. The only difference of course was the view . Stay is extremely friendly and helpful . Great alternative to your standard all inclusive resorts

Our 2 families (10 persons) had a great time and stay in this house over Christmas. This house doesn't have any AC but the fans do a pretty good job. Nice deep pool which was of great use as the tide and seaweed has big influence on the beach just outside . Along the shore there are couple of cozy restaurants. Be caution and aware of palm trees with coconuts that can fall down from the neighbor plots. Housekeeper Hidaya was great and so friendly, she helped with cleaning and cooking.

Amazing all around! We stayed in 3 airbnbs in Zanzibar and this was probably my favorite (it was also the least expensive). The pool is huge and perfect at any time of day. Grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers and trees, and you feel perfectly safe with several night guards. The room itself had everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen, fast wifi, mosquito net, COLD AC (so nice after hot days). Lovely living room space to spread out and relax, as well as an outdoor private patio with another couch and table. Shower was nice and hot (the water gets extra hot so just be careful). Plus there are multiple spots in the common areas to lounge, including a gym, lounge with TV, reading nook with books, and an additional pool on the other property across the street. The propriety also has bicycles that you can use for free. We ate at the Italian restaurant in the other property and it was delicious! The surrounding neighborhood is also really cool to see locals going about their daily lives. There is a local restaurant nearby called Ommy’s that looked amazing and has very cheap local food if you want to try. Unfortunately we went too late in the day but we had several very positive interactions with Ommy and bought some produce from him at a very good price. All in all we absolutely loved our stay here and would 200% recommend it to anyone looking to relax in a very comfortable spot at a great value.

Price performance ok. I really liked that the accommodation is occupied almost all the time, i.e. we had a very safe feeling even during our excursions. Breakfast is fine, you always get fruit and something different African every day. On request, there are also other things. Family atmosphere.

Utupoa made me feel so at home, that I didn't want to leave at all :) I stayed for a week and felt so welcome. Joyce is an amazing, kind and very cool woman! With soo many interesting storys, I could listen to her for hours. But not only Joyce was great, her staff was lovely as well and helps with everything. The food is very delicious and freshly cooked. Utupoa is so, so beautiful with a fascinating garden and a huge mainhouse, with lots to see. I love, love, loved the view! The beach is great aswell and much quieter than other places, with viewer beachboys. Snorkeling is awesome with plenty of sealife to see. Mnemba Island is not far away and a must do for diving or snorkling - breathtakingly beautiful! I enjoyed the dinners with the other guests and Joyce, we had lots of fun. I met super cool people :). Utupoa is a home away from home with so much character, heart and sunshine. I would go back any time and hope I can one day. Asante sana Joyce!

The villa more or less meets the description, needs some renovation. Close to the beach and kids loved the pool. The surrounding is not so nice because of construction all around. Very nice communication from Eliasa, thank you very much!

Good location , 5 minutes to the beach, Rodja very friendly nice man, i recommend go to boom boom boat party with him👍 I like this place 👍

Great value and super helpful hosts. The place is secluded with your own garden and two porches. The 24/7 Village Supermarket, Yako restaurant, exchange places etc. are only a 5 minute walk away. You can reach the beach within 8-12 minutes depending on which road you take (walk). There is also backup power for when there are power outages, so you can still work etc. All in all, a top-notch stay; highly recommended.
