We had the most incredible stay at this home in Cathkin. The furnishings are absolutely beautiful—stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully selected. Every detail has been carefully considered and the home had ever we needed and more. But the real highlight is the view—breathtaking doesn’t even begin to describe it. Whether you’re relaxing on the porch or enjoying a meal inside, the scenery is always spectacular. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with all the comforts of a high-end retreat. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an absolute dream stay at this incredible place! The view from our accommodation was simply stunning, and the place itself was beautifully maintained and full of charm. The place was beautifully decorated and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was so much to do in the area, from outdoor activities to exploring local attractions. The accommodation was perfect for our family, with plenty of space and amenities to keep everyone happy. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. We had the best time all round!! Stardust Cottage is perfectly equipped, spotlessly clean, has an extremely comfy bed and beautiful linen and Kevin is a fantastic host. The view from the cottage is stunning and although staying high up in the magnificent Berg was so peaceful, we were still close to many fun attractions. We have had many Air Bnb stays but this is most certainly one of the best!

A stunning getaway. This was our second trip here with family and won’t be our last. The location is breathtaking and the house is beautiful, comfortable, and well stocked. Vicki, Rick and George were very helpful and accommodating. Thanks for sharing this slice of heaven with us!

Dalene's cottage is set in the heart of the beautiful Drakensberg, with access to many great walks. The cottage is attractive and comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. Hans and Dalene are kind and helpful hosts, which made our stay all the more memorable.

Such a large Beautiful family home. 3 bathrooms for the 5 rooms meant never having to wait. Pool table and table tennis was great night time entertainment and made for good family rivalry. 😜

We had a great time at Charlstons place in Dragon View Estate! The home was a prefect base to explore central Drakensberg.

This was our fourth trip to the Drakensberg, having previously stayed at another Airbnb and a well-known lodge near Helen's place. Without a doubt, this was our best experience yet. The location strikes a perfect balance. It's conveniently close to the attractions of Champagne Valley – think chocolate and great hikes – while still offering wonderful peace and quiet. And those mountain views are truly something special. The accommodation itself is excellent. The two bedrooms are very spacious, each with its own bathroom and wonderfully large beds. We appreciated the blankets, heater, and the well-equipped kitchen with its large fridge. Having full DSTV and reliable Wi-Fi was a bonus for downtime, and the Weber was perfect for braais. The place is nicely furnished and genuinely feels like a comfortable home. Dealing with Helen was effortless. Extending our stay by an extra night was handled with no trouble at all. A definite 10/10, and we'll certainly be returning!
