This is the second time we've stayed at Tom's house. Once again we had a lovely stay. Super relaxing and beautiful location. From the deck we saw up to 3 pods of dolphins a day swimming past. The staff at the 360 restaurant were super helpful and friendly - prepping our caught fish for us and cooking it beautifully. We also highly recommend the icecream shop on Ponta d'Ouro and the friendly professional diving experience with Back to Basics adventures with Jenny and Rupert (also in Ponta d"Ouro).

It was an amazing time at Ulene’s place. It looks exactly like the photos, a very beautiful mix of feeling like in a forest and hearing the ocean waves. The plants and trees are not much talked about but was one of the things we loved the most. We were with our 1-month old baby and she slept all the time, just to give a hint of how peaceful the place is. The host was always ready to help. The braai area is so amazing, we had the best time at the house. It was a perfectly peaceful holidays.

We had a fantastic time at Galago Bush camp. It was exactly what we were looking for - an experience of camping in the bush with simple comforts. Once we knew the route it was quick and easy to get to the beach, and lovely to come back for a refreshing outdoor shower and shade under the trees. We also enjoyed the bush babies, butterflies and birds. Thank you so much Barbara and Leon!

We had the most wonderful stay, with the only complaint being that we didn't stay for long enough! The villa is within walking distance to the hustle and bustle of the village and the main beach. The kitchen is well equipped and Fernando is very accommodating. It is so nice to have someone there to take care of any issues that may arise, as well as keep the place tidy. It was such a nice touch to have Wi-Fi available for us when we arrived. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We loved staying with Lee again! She was as helpful and welcoming as always. The solar power was a huge plus, especially with the frequent power outages in Sodwana. The khaya felt like home and brought back wonderful memories of our first visit to Sodwana and the khaya. It’s truly a special place, and we can’t wait to return!

Alfonso, Berta and Sipho were simply amazing! It was my first time in the Kangela Estate and I am in love with the place. Perfect location and view - the house is super cool and had every utensil that we would need for a girl’s get away trip. I highly recommend and will definitely come back in the next chance I’ve got. Beautiful home that had lots of free safe space for my 2 year old to run around. Chanel was so kind and very accommodating with all our needs! Such a cool spot away from the main areas but close enough to get to everything We had a blast there and all our needs were catered for. Siphewe the housekeeper is such a gem. Kind and caring with my son and kept the place super clean. And the Grounds caregiver was alert and around keeping us safe and lending a helping hand when needed! I will for sure be back and highly recommend Chanel’s home . Thank you again x

Stunning and lekker jol. Lose your inhibitions, enjoy the peace and tranquility and hospitality of the friendly locals. Accommodation was perfect, bar attached was brilliant and we took over the DJ job. Rosa, needs a special mention. What a lovely young lady and host helping Tanya. A gem of a place! We’re already looking at Dec 2025 return!

First reaction was it's gorgeous. Green everywhere, chickens at the front door. The dogs bark quite a lot in the evening but were quiet and extremely friendly when we arrived. We did get stuck on the way there, note that we also have a tiny BMW. The host was very quick to answer the phone and provide guidance. As well, the community there while being spread out is also quite large so we were only stuck for about 15 minutes before someone drove up behind us and helped us out. But this place is gorgeous. The beach was extremely windy, but the view from the cabin is breathtaking morning and evening. There are tons of local natural activities like the wetlands and the surrounding parks and lodges. Note that there is no hot water at this time at the location. The GPS also sent us the entire wrong direction so please contact the host so you don't get lost. You will definitely not regret staying here. It's not fancy at all, but if a rustic lakeside experience is what you want, this is the place.
