Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. Newly completed in June 2021, this stylish 3 bedroom architecturally designed home sits on a ridge with sea views in two directions. Two bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a heat pump. Sit & watch the view or walk to one of the beaches only a short wander away. Kereru, Kaka, Kakariki & Tui visit the surrounding bush. The house is located a ridge a minutes walk to Lonnekers Beach Free pick-up available on request. Strictly no pets or parties The fire is not available for use. No WIFI!

Te Whare Poutama - Bluff's Art Deco Gem!

This Art Deco inspired home is a Bluff landmark. Built by the Arnett family in the 1940s, it is named "Poutama" after the Tītī Island where they went muttonbirding. The home has three bedrooms and an open plan lounge, dining-nook and kitchen. North facing, it offers sun-drenched views of Bluff's waterfront, especially from its large sunroom that contains one of two work spaces. A two minute walk to a well-stocked dairy, it is a great base from which to enjoy Bluff or visit Stewart Island.

Hicks Farm accomodation

Hicks Farm accommodation offers a unit that has a bedroom and living room with your own bathroom 15m away along the outside deck. You are sharing the property with our family, the pet sheep and the local kiwi. We are a 20min walk from the centre of Oban, over a couple of hills. Please consider this before booking. Transfers are available with Aurora cabs, please contact them direct. If walking, backpacks are best and don't forget your rain jacket, it has been known to rain here!

The Garden room

The Garden room is in a quiet area of Bluff overlooking the harbour. The property has 3 accommodation areas each with private access. The Garden room is on the ground floor with sliding door access. The garden is a sun trap, but there is a heat pump for cold nights too. The accomodation has a driveway for parking (this is shared with the other accommo), but there is plenty of safe parking on the street. The ferry terminal (500m) and supermarket (400m) are a short walk away.
