What can I say about Crow’s Hermitage that the other reviews haven’t already captured? If you’re considering other options—stop looking. You’ve found the perfect place. As many others have noted, the photos can’t possibly convey the enchantment that settles over you the moment you arrive. From the character of the home to the serene outdoor spaces to the thousand-year-old parish next door, it feels like stepping into the pages of a fairytale. When it comes to hosts, Colm is in a league of his own. He went above and beyond with directions, thoughtful recommendations, and any request we made. By the end of our stay, we didn’t just feel cared for—we felt like family.

Fiddlestone lodge is a stunning property. We went as a family of 14 and felt we all had our own privacy, as the house is so spacious. The outdoor area by the hot tub is an amazing social area - we spent most of our time there. The games area was well used too. The barbecue was top of the range and had the whole family fed in no time!! Nick is so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back again. Highly recommend anyone to stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Visited Julie and Steve’s place with the girls for my best friends 30th, they were amazing hosts very responsive, clear check in instructions and great recommendations for takeaways close by. The house was beautiful and the surroundings were also beautiful. The hot tub was an added bonus and they even added extra touches for my friend’s birthday which was lovely. We had a ball and would definitely recommend! Thank you Julie and Steve!

We stayed here with our two sons and our dog. The house was so comfortable and cosy. The space was perfect and so well designed and maintained. The gardens were fab and very secure so the dog could potter around and we could leave the door open. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was easy to use. I’d highly recommend this house to anyone travelling this direction. As an aside, the local area is stunning. We completed many walks and many cafes etc were dog friendly so we could bring her inside which was so easy when the weather was bad. This is my new favourite location in Ireland as it was just so easy and every single person we met was so nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house to friends and family!

Great accomodation for group of adults, very spacious. Bedrooms beautifully decorated, loved the white linen and curtains. Plenty of car parking.

Everything was perfect, nice jacuzzi, very spacious house, everything what you need to stay included (pans, pots, cups..), very clean inside. One thing what wasn’t perfect was smell from cows farm which is very close to house (not whole day, just from time to time), if somebody don’t have a problem with that and like “country side vibes) I’ll say its 10/10 👍

Jill and Alistair could not have been better hosts. From initial booking inquiry through checkout, they were incredibly helpful, responsive, friendly, and went the extra mile without any prompt. Directions to the stay were crystal clear, the property is immaculate, beautiful, private, and well located for the exploration of Finad and all of Donegal. Rathmullan is a wonderful town, and I can not recommend enough a stay with Jill, and Alistair, and especially their wonderful dogs. Alistair was extra helpful in navigating the area, providing recommendations, asking for feedback, and saving a few strokes up at Portsalon Golf Club. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay well within reach of some of Ireland's most beautiful drives, landmarks, and scenery, this is the place to be. We have travelled quite a bit over the last few years, and this stay was the best we have experienced due to not only location, but the hospitality of Jill and Alistair. A review of 5 stars is too few.

Just back from our stay the apartment was spotless and had everything you could need and more. It was easy to find and clear instructions for access. Walking into the apartment it was so homely and warm and the view was amazing. The beds were lovely and comfortable. We had 2 dogs with us and the outside patio and grass area were so handy and closed in. The apartment is so handy for nearby amenities shop , coffee shops etc. We couldn't fault the apartment and John's gift of wheaten bread was appreciated. We would definitely return and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

everything was spotles especially the house thanks to his amazing wife . the jacuzzi was a bonus and was great to relax. graham was very helpful telling me the best places to go around their for food and entertainment. will definitely be back again. was such a bargain 😊

Great time at Portnablagh! The airbnb was perfect, the photos don’t do the view justice. Extremely peaceful with beautiful beaches and walks near by. We really enjoyed going for dinner in the rusty oven in Dunfanaghy. Would highly recommend staying here, can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for two nights in Sleepy Hollow. It was amazing! The cottage was immaculate with many lovely touches and a personal welcoming card. Roy and Iris were brilliant hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The cottage had everything that we could possibly have needed including bread, butter , jam & marmalade, milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. There were little packets of tissues and chocolates by our bed and lovely fresh posies of flowers everywhere. The garden and grounds are simply stunning with several quirky places to sit and two with wood burners. It was so peaceful with the sound of birds singing and even a rabbit which appeared a couple of times. Attention to detail was so evident in both house and grounds. Sleepy Hollow is a very central spot for exploring the North Coast and is very convenient to Ballymoney while still feeling far from the maddening crowd! We would highly recommend Sleepy Hollow as a perfect getaway!

This is one of the most beautiful rentals that I have ever experienced. The location is fantastic with mesmerizing views of the ocean and is very peaceful. A wonderful place to relax. The apartment itself is 5-star. Beautifully furnished, of a high standard and extremely clean. All amenities available. Jill and Michael are great hosts ensuring that all is well with their guests.

The Cabin is a a well thought out, beautiful presented, by the sea vibe small space. Perfect for a night away. Kathryn left a lovely welcome pack which included fresh milk from the farm down the road (which we then went to!) and local marshmallows that we made s’mores with on the fire pit outside the cabin. Would highly recommend.

Clean cosy little cabin. Friendly and helpful host. Kitchen was pretty well equipped for our needs. I would recommend this place to family/friends. Thank you for the lovely eggs.

One of the best stay we had. Paul was very responsive to all the messages. Clear instructions were given about the check-in and also about the direction to reach the property. Gina was so welcoming. Everything was clean, with all amenities provided that one would need. The cabin was so cosy. It's located in a serene surrounding. The hot tub was too good. Our kid enjoyed playing with the cute dogs and cats, and also in the dedicated play area - so definitely kid friendly too. This place is definitely recommended for those who prefer a calm, quiet and relaxing space.

Jon was an amazing host and very attentive. His attention to detail was something else. We went to The Love Hub for one night to celebrate our 20yr wedding anniversary. On arrival was a lovely note from Jon and a surprise bottle of bubbles sat in an ice bucket beside the hot tub. We really enjoyed the fact that we could relax in the hot tub while watching movies on the big screen while the rain was falling. The lights that Jon has decorated the Love Hub with really added to the ambiance of the surroundings. Jon has thought of everything. The Love Hub really is that special place to spend some quality time with your other half without being disturbed. I give this place a 10/10

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Davey John's Forge for his birthday. The cabin was lovely with a stunning view of the lake. We we're only a 10-20 minute drive to any of the local towns which was perfect for us and any questions we had Shane was quick to respond with recommendations etc. Will definitely be coming back to Donegal.

Perfect if you are looking for peace and some quiet time. The sea view and the wee wood stove set the mood. Be sure to visit Dooey Beach, it's just a 30 minute walk!

Joe and Family were so welcoming and helpful with great information and help when needed. The house was amazing value and was perfect for our fishing needs. Thanks so much Joe. Would highly recommend for a stay especially if you fishing in the area.
