Lovely and peaceful, price was ideal for such a big house. Everything was thought about in this home, nothing was needed other than the food and drinks. Everyone had a great time. Cinema had a huge collection of dvds and ps4 games. Sauna was excellent. We were surprised when beautiful peacocks walked up the drive way. Thanks again. Carly & Family.

Kristy’s place was great. Had everything we needed. Comfortable, quiet, kitchen was complete. Hot tub was very nice!! Kristy met us at check in and it simple and straightforward. Would be delighted to be there again!

Had a lovely stay in the bothy and the location was perfect with a short walk into town! The bothy is fully equipped and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Fantastic place for a family get together. Plenty of space and great location. Linda was great to deal with and would highly recommend staying at Balnacraig. Second time there and hopefully not the last.

Wonderful accommodation and hosts. The location and views are amazing, the house itself has a great layout with loads of space and very homely. The garden is brilliant, especially for children and the hot tub went down a treat. Alan and family were very welcoming and gave some nice personal touches which were greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

The small town nearby (just a 10-minute drive) was charming and convenient for anything I needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

I enjoyed the great view through the window right next to the table. We recommend you to take out fish and chips from the city center and have it with beer at the table in the living room. Though water pressure is rather low.

Beautiful cottage. Felt out of the way but was close to road into portree. Very warm building, bathroom and rooms superb. Would highly recommend and revisit. Visiting sheep was an added bonus!

We had a magnificent stay in Alness. Beautiful surroundings and the home was a real treat to stay in. Enjoyed learning about the local history and taking walks in the area. Love to return!

Toms place was amazing, perfect for what we needed, beautiful property and peaceful. Tom was a great host if anything was needed tom was there to answer. Would absolutely recommend Toms place, if we where in the area again I would not hesitate to book again. Susie’s place was lovely! Location was superb for exploring Skye. The cottage was thoughtfully prepared for guests! Susie gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. Would definitely stay again!

When we arrived at Veronica’s cottage, the first thing I said was “This is exactly what we need!” Oak Cottage is immaculate, private and has a large, fully appointed kitchen. It’s a perfect location for seeing the sights around Inverness or a starting point for a trip to the Ullapool ferry or the North Coast 500 drive. We appreciated the treats on our arrival - delicious eggs from her chickens, milk and cookies. We were also very impressed with the beautifully maintained property and pastures. The animals (their pets) were a real bonus. It was so much fun to see them all race towards us when they saw we had good. It was a joy to feed them! Veronica is lovely and made us feel right at home. We highly recommend Oak Cottage and would be delighted to stay there again.

We had an amazing experience at this place. We were a family of two adults and two teenagers visiting Scotland. We stayed at the Fort Augustus Abbey for 7 nights to explore the Highland, lakes and islands. The apartment was large and very comfortable, inside an old abbey and its huge park, facing a large green field. The location is truly exceptional, directly on the banks of the Loch Ness, close to all facilities. Most of the apartment looked very recently renovated. The furniture and beds were great. The kitchen table and the living area furniture were clearly used but not at all worn out. There were some stains on the carpet but nothing bothersome. The apartment was very comfortable with a huge dining table, lots of space, two full bathrooms, very comfortable kitchen area, etc. The abbey was great overall, a very nice park for walking or just sitting around, table tennis, open-air chess, swimming pool, etc. By far our best Airbnb experience. A bit pricey but absolutely worth it!

Although a little expensive, the views, and being in an Abbey was an amazing experience. We had plenty of room and the apartment had everything we needed including tea! The canal locks were a thrilling surprise to watch when going for coffee or ice cream. Loch Ness cruise was beautiful. Everything you could need from coffee to restaurants and gift shops to convenience store all walking distance but very quiet complex with a city link bus stop 5-6 minute walk to explore the highlands.

Another wonderful stay here. Cozy, comfortable caravan with a beautiful, peaceful view. Spotlessly clean, great shower, comfy sofas, helpful hosts. Perfect for watching the world go by outside. Can't wait to return next year!

We loved our stay at the old abbey - we felt a bit like Harry Potter at Hogwarts. The apartment was clean, well equipped and very spacious. The abbey's outdoor area is a dream and the pool is wonderful!

Fantastic place. We stayed at Cottage 9. We had been to Highland club many times but this is the first time at the cottage. It is well worth it. Very private entrance and whole stay was very comfortable for four of us. Apartment was clean and well appointed. Car parking available next to the cottage.

This is a homestay located in a monastery. The building is extremely magnificent, and the corridors are very beautiful. Our apartment is on the top floor, offers a view of Loch Ness. The scenery is truly stunning—there's even a pigeon incubating eggs near the bathroom window, a lot of rabbits on lawn. The apartment is fully equipped and functional. Beds extremely comfortable. In short, we were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely come back again.

Lovely location, we spend the best week of our holiday there!
