The place was huge, comfortable and clean. It had mostly everything we needed and as described. The location isn’t exactly walkable to most restaurants but we had a car so that wasn’t an issue. The host was responsive and communicated well. Overall I’d definitely recommend Mala’s place.

It’s a gem of a place to find in Surathkal!! If anyone is looking out for a lovely house that feels right like home, this is the best you can find. This is also a great option for any family to stay if their kid studies in NITK, as it’s super convenient to travel to and from college. (Sometimes the college guest house is unavailable and this could be a great alternative) The house is clean to bits, the kitchen cutlery is great and has everything one can ask for. They’ve a nice balcony to sit and sip chai, but unfortunately Surathkal was too hot for us to do so. The hosts, Dominic and Wilma, are super helpful and kind. They contacted us much earlier when we had to check in, and are super responsive to any requests made. Thank you, and will surely come back here! 😁

I had a lovely stay at Mala’s Airbnb! The home is peaceful, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged—perfect for anyone looking to relax. What truly made the experience special was Joyce’s warm hospitality. She was welcoming, attentive, and ensured I had everything I needed. Her personal touch really elevated my stay. A big thanks as well to Lakshmi, the helper, who was kind, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. Her presence added a comforting, homely vibe. One thing to note: phone network coverage is poor, likely due to the jammer at the nearby prison. The Wi-Fi signal was also weak, mainly because of the aging TP-Link router. Upgrading to Jio Fibre—stronger and more affordable—would greatly enhance the experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time and would definitely recommend this property for its warm people, serene atmosphere, and genuine care from Joyce and Lakshmi. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Anusha’s place felt like home. Every room has air conditioning, and the space was exceptionally clean. She was very friendly and responsive. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the utensils needed for cooking.

Clean. well maintained comfortable apartment with all the basic necessities with parking. This made our 1 night stay at Manasa homes memorable. Would be happy to stay again.

Our family of 17 GUESTS had ample space to unwind comfortably in the huge living room and a spacious bedroom. Property descriptions were accurate. Here's what we loved: Cleanliness & Hygiene: The place was super clean! The bathrooms were spotless and the beddings smelled amazing. Sleeping arrangements: Even with 17 Members, everyone slept soundly. Has sofa beds & additional floor mattresses. Prime Location: At the hub: Kankanady. Despite being centrally located, it’s a tranquil retreat. Accessibility: We were surprised to find that: Restaurants, ATM’s, Hospital, Bus & Auto stands, and a big Supermarket – was within walking distance. Railway Station is just 5mins away. The Superhost: Jason's hospitality & helpfulness was top-notch. Here maybe some CONS: House Rules: Host family is very strict on house rules mentioned, best to communicate plans while booking. Parking at the bungalow is available for one car, but the main road is a safe alternative as well for additional cars.

The house was easy to locate. It clean and welcoming. The apartment is exactly as mentioned in the website. Pavanesh was a wonderful and accommodating host.
