Vacation rentals in Uchiko, Kita District

My dog and I had a wonderful stay! Our host was incredibly kind and met me at check in for a little tour of the place and to give some local recommendations. The view from the house is gorgeous and super convenient, as I brought my paddleboard and was able to SUP right out front. You're super close to a great little hiking trail to an overlook of all the islands and a few minutes drive from restaurants, though there is a BBQ at the house if you'd rather eat at home. I plan on coming back for a longer stay next time! One more thing to add - the host kindly offered to take some photos of my dog and I paddleboarding so I could leave with some memories. He and his neighbor were on the beach in the morning while I was out. You're getting more than the house with this stay. He's a gem.

This is a very unique and comfortable space behind a cafe/restaurant space. Please be aware that if member of your travel party have mobility concerns, there are a number of stairs and steps up/down to access things. Aside from that, it is a gorgeous, well kept space very convenient to the rabbit island. The restaurant is extremely tasty and well worth the price. Also be aware that the set menu is quite a lot of food, so definitely come hungry! Aside from being a little challenging to navigate and having a layout that is definitely not your standard hotel room, this is a lovely place to stay if you want to visit the rabbit island!

I loved the feeling of this house! Very traditional and peaceful home in the countryside. Roseanne was very thoughtful, and even came to greet me after I arrived. The outdoor area is also very nice if you want to sit outside and enjoy the nature.

Przyjemny dom w tradycyjnym stylu blisko promu na wyspę. Posiada dwie sypialnie futon, dwie tradycyjne oraz duży salon. W domu było trochę zimno w kwietniu ale są zapewnione piecyki. Do dworca jest 7 minut na nogach, trzeba przejść przez tunel. Polecamy :)

周りに海がありとてもきれいな環境でした。周辺にはお店があまりなさそうなので準備はしっかりしていったほうが良いかもしれません。

A fabulous stop on the Shimanami Kaido route, and the best AirBnB I've ever stayed in. Amazing views, luxury touches, and plenty of space after a day of riding. Far from stores and shops so be sure to stock up before going to the house.

We had a great time in Matsuyama! The house is in a perfect location right next to the ferry to Kashima island and close to a 7 Eleven, and many great restaurants (our favorite was the Takoyaki shop a couple of minutes away by foot). The house is in a very peaceful and relaxing neighborhood with easy access to downtown Matsuyama. The host is very responsive and available! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely stay at this house in Tomo Port. The location is great - easy walk from the bus stop, and close to shops, restaurants and the ferry to Sensujima Island. The house is as described; the bed was very comfortable and it was nice to be left a couple of coffee pods and green tea bags. The hosts provided very clear instructions about how to access the house and were quick to reply to messages. As for the town, we enjoyed exploring the historic sites, sampling Homieshu, walking on Sensujima and loved the salt grilled sea bass.

This was a wonderful place. A spacious apartment with a lovely light filled living room. It’s very well-equipped. There are three bedrooms which is a boon for any family who have been travelling for a while. It was very easy to get from the flat to Miyajima, to the Peace Park, the station and to the Hiroshima Carp’s stadium. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
