Cottage vacation rentals in Twin Mountain, Carroll

Our stay at Chelsea and Mathew’s cottage was top notch. The communication and instructions on all things related to the cottage were detailed and clear. From prior to booking and throughout the stay the communication was excellent. The house was clean and well kept, charming and welcoming. The bonus features of the wood burning stove and hot tub made this a must stay location for us and we couldn’t have been happier with what they added to the overall experience. I highly recommend the spot for its proximity to Black Mountain, what the house offers and the hosts were fantastic. We’ll be back for sure!

Nice private area, close by to a few small-towns for groceries, gas, etc. Property was very scenic and often only sounds that could be heard were birds. Slept 5 comfortably and never felt crowded. 10/10

This trip was more than we could've ever wanted! The property was lovely and the hosts were more than accommodating and made sure everything was as comfortable as it could've been! I'd recommend anyone to book with these hosts and I will definitely be booking again!

Milan’s place is a great value! How wonderful to find a place where a family of 10 can gather WITH pets! Room to spread out for movies, a game of pool or hot tubbing. It’s a space for lots of people…and lots of people mean lots of wear and tear. Even with that reality, Milan’s home reflects thoughtful care and consideration for groups who want comfortable together time. SO convenient to many White Mountain area attractions. We would definitely return and we thank you for a perfect space to make happy memories!!

The place had everything that you needed for a comfortable stay.

The perfect place for a cozy cabin trip! The view of the mountains is incredible and the house has everything you'd need to stay in and cook meals. It was great to also be close to downtown North Conway for restaurants and cafes, as well as Attitash for winter skiing. Chris was very responsive throughout our stay and a wonderful host.

What a wonderful stay we had at Burke Mountain! Our son was racing there so we made a family weekend of it. Terrilyn was super communicative and provided clear instructions from booking through checkout. The cottage was exactly as described and perfect for my husband, myself and our three children and our dog. The place was very well maintained and clean for a rental that allows pets, complete with cleaning pads for pups paws and towels for drying after being outside. It was so nice to not have a TV and instead sit by the fire, listening to music while our boys really enjoyed playing with the legos there as part of the games/entertainment. We loved being so close to the mountain. It was the perfect weekend stay for our introduction to Burke—we will be back!

This was a great get away. Right on the lake with the convenience of using their kayaks, row boat, and peddleboat. Also had an array of life jackets for everyone to be safe. Scenery is beautiful, location is peaceful! We read, kayaked, played pinpong in their basement, sat around the firepit and listened to nature! The house is exactly how you see it in the pics, plus better! The home is spotless and has everything you need! Host Heidi is very responsive! They even have many board games and puzzles to play. Toy’s house is the perfect place to stay. It felt like home, family vacations and so cozy with comfy couches, warm blankets and a fireplace to curl up in front of. Toy provided every bit of information we needed and responded quickly when we had a question. The house is very well stocked with everything we needed to relax and there isso much to see and enjoy in the area. We will absolutely stay there again.

Loved Nancy's cabin! Stayed for a cold weekend in snowy February '25. Family of six with adult children, significant other, 8month old baby, and pups. Circle dirt driveway fit our three suvs with room for more (beginning of driveway is shared with house next door). Right off route 113, but hardly noticed the traffic noise, the river scenery was gorgeous and peaceful. River was frozen and there is a walking trail across the way, so we saw a few snowshoers and their pups, otherwise a secluded stay. Three bedrooms upstairs with a full bath, living room, kitchen, and one bunk room in the basement with a second living area and half bath with laundry. Kitchen was fully stocked. Cozy but enough room for us to spread out. Wifi worked well. The ramp up to the house from the driveway wasn't shoveled, nor was the deck, but one shovel was provided and we brought our own shovels to clear it for use. Also nice covered area under the deck out the basement door. Comfy beds! Cards and board games too.

Good place to stay lots of beds in a small footprint. Burners on the stove never got hot enough for me to cook my dinner or boil more than a cup of water but other than that everything worked great and check in and out was painless.

Great location and cozy home with great ambiance, decor, and all of the necessities. The spiral staircase and upstairs rooms felt much smaller in person but no major issues! If you're bringing dog(s) that may have noise sensitivity like ours sometimes do - note that the walls to nextdoor Airbnb are quite thin. The dogs also had difficulty on the stairs - one learned to go up and down by training and the other one had to be carried up and down 😂 Hosts were great!

Had another great week in Vermont and the house was wonderful! Thank you so much for all your help and can't wait to visit again.

Great view and cabin was actually clean. Peaceful week on the lake. The area was fun. Found the alpaca farm open in the weekend close by and got to feed them. Picked the best apples we've ever had at Libbys U Pik not far from cabin. Shopped at the Limerick market and found Shaines of Maine icecream. Tried Black Rasberry and Grapenut yummy on both. They had lots of other specialty items. Fried chicken was great too. Also shopped close by at the Ye Old Sale Shop and found some wonderful vintage treasures. Had a great time at the cabin and surrounding area. Would totally come back this summer to get on the lake in the kayaks when its warmer and have another great week. The porch is the ultimate lake porch. The cats and ourselves thoroughly enjoyed the lake view all week Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect peaceful and private cabin with easy access to the mountains. The whole place was extremely clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and provided plenty of hang out space between the two living areas. Mark was super accommodating and allowed us access to the grill as well. We had a wonderful weekend!

cozy and equipped with everything you need

Awesome place for our family of 6 to use for home base for a few days of skiing. Just what we hoped for. Cozy, comfy, clean. Hope we get the chance to stay again!

Dan and Jane have a beautiful home. They were extremely kind and I can’t thank them enough for allowing me and the kids to meet their horses. It is a wonderful property on a serene landscape. The pictures don’t do it justice. We will certainly be back.

A peaceful getaway on a beautiful property with an amazing mountain view. Great location on a quiet back road. Close to Gorham where there are many restaurants. Many trails just a walk away (recommend Lookout Ledge Trail just a few houses down on the left via Grassy Lane and Pasture Path vs. the steeper trail from Durand St). The cottage is on separate property surrounded by trees so it’s very private. It is amazingly well-equipped (ample toiletries; kitchen supplies). Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Loved the small touches such as a basket full of snacks on the kitchen table and fresh flowers in many of the rooms. Jenn is a super wonderful and friendly host. Always quick to respond and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The two things we enjoyed the most during our stay was having coffee outside on the screened-in front porch in the morning and ending our day at the fire pit while enjoying the beautiful mountain view. Highly recommend!

Dianne’s place was just right for my small family of three! The place was clean and well kept and had all the amenities one could need and even more than we expected. There was some construction going on at the house next door, which was a bit disappointing, but just a reminder that the house is in a community and not to expect complete silence at all times. Dianne was very responsive and kind, and all in all we had a very lovely time.

Stay was fantastic , it was everything we were looking for!

Great cabin in a great location. The area was very quiet and peaceful, a great place to spend a week of relaxation. We'd definitely stay here again!
