We really enjoyed our stay at the Intimate Rainforest Retreat! This was a beautifully appointed, private space which backed on such peaceful surrounds. Our host - Graham - was so attentive and took the time to really make our stay special for us with some personalised treats and some great suggestions locally. Would highly recommend staying to truly relax, unwind and zen out! Thank you Graham - we'll be back!

Beautiful barn, gorgeous location, lovely hosts! Ann went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a great stay even though it was short and sweet!

It's our second time staying here and both times have been exceptional. Our favourite AirBnb if you want somewhere in the forest and surrounded by tranquil nature. The amenities and facilities are also 10/10 and everything is very comfortable. Could not recommend more highly!

This cabin was in a lovely isolated area of the Byron hinterlands. Around 8 min drive from local shop and easy to get to. Along with the lovely furnished kitchen and amenities matthew provided some awesome basics as well as a few local treats as well. The cabin felt the perfect size for a couple with fireplace and bathroom and would definitely recommend. A relaxing getaway!

Wow!! This place is beautiful I miss it already!! The photos honestly don’t do it justice!! The towels and linen smell beautiful!! Everything is clean and it’s exactly what we wanted! The cows and horses came up to us and were so friendly ☺️ we love it! I thank you guys so much!!!

It was such a special experience to stay here!! A super cute little cabin atop a hill surrounded by lush gum trees and nature- oh the serenity! 🌳✨🌄 My parents built this home and I grew up enjoying this property thoroughly, creating many memories with my family, especially my late father, Gerry. It was a surreal but genuinely wonderful experience to return here to enjoy a stay in the cute little cabin Thea and Justin have built here, and relax with a delicious soak in the magnesium hot tub! ✨ Thea and Justin were so very accommodating, hosting me for a delicious dinner and allowing me to walk through their home, as I reminisced the days I called it home myself. What Thea and Justin have done with the place since it became their family home - is heartwarming to see. It's comforting to know the place I grew up watching my father care for and put his sweat and tears into building, is being looked after and appreciated so greatly by Justin and Thea with the same creative passion. 💚

We had a great stay, loved the farm tour and recommendation of where to watch the sunrise. Beautiful spot with so many animals.

the stay was beautiful and we had a great time, so happy we were able to bring our dog and he loved it. Bonnie left very clear instructions for how to get in to the property (however i wasn't able to see the byron built signs mentioned), and how to checkout. check in and out process was smooth. the airbnb was immaculately clean and beautifully styled, perfect for a couples getaway. also props as it is very disability friendly. really great amenities available with a really well stocked kitchen, BBQ, and utensils. the surrounds and property were beautiful and backed onto a beautiful creek which wouldve been perfect for swimming if it had been sunny. only note is that it was described to be private/secluded. although we had no issues with it, the next closest unit was only around 50m away and when the people staying in the unit returned they were able to see into the lounge room of our unit quite well. very minor criticism as this didn't bother us at all.

My wife and I (and our 2 dogs) loved our stay at Joff's cottage. The place was clean, well laid out, with a comfy bed and couch. The location was quiet and secluded, with a beautiful view. We enjoyed having a wine on the patio, while watching the sun set over the rolling green hills. And waking up in the morning to see the mist in the valley below was a real treat. Thank you very much Joff! We wish we had more than one night and are definitely keen to return soon!

all in all this was a great place to wind down and spend time with your loved one/s in a cosy environment

This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment you drive up the driveway you know you’re in for a good time. Perched upon the rolling greens hills of Byron Bay the first things you notice are the exceptional views. As you enter the property you immediately feel like you are home. It has everything you need to be self contained and was warm and cosy, not to mention the amazing smells of the hand made soaps that radiate through the house. Our host was simply amazing, very kind, friendly & welcoming. If you are looking for accommodation in the region you can’t go past it. Less than 5 mins to Bangalow for your morning coffee, 15 mins to The Pass for a surf and when you are done for the day you come back to the little sanctuary where you get to share the sunset with the cows as it sets behind the hills. We didn’t want to leave this place and neither did our dog but will most definitely be back.

I went here during the week, to completely disconnect from work and this place definitely did the trick. Red wine by the fire. music on the speaker. Charlie the dog kept me company during the days. and the cheeky magpies came up for breakfast. Will definitely be back. Thankyou.

it's a really nice, quiet and beautiful place. Location is really good, it's close to the restaurants, pubs, woolies and more, yet, it feels private and it's very quiet. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, spacious shared areas and very nice atmosphere. I'd love to come back one day!

Lovely place to stay close to the beach and town and Gail was a great host, responsive and clear communication. Bathroom as described is shared as a kitchen space also. Bed comfy and thoughtful touches - milk, snacks, beach towels.

After looking for just the right place for a quiet weekend away, we found Daina's place. It's like falling straight into your own place. This place is a space most would crave, the quiet sounds of nature mixed with the deliberately relaxed atmosphere of the farm and surrounding views is something very special! The attention to detail inside the cabins and quality of what's offered is noticeable. Top quality. We felt privileged to be able to experience this place, we will return if granted by these superior hosts, of whom know what they're doing. If we had to break it down to one word then PERFECT is it. thank you guys

I had the most perfectly peaceful stay here over 2 nights in winter. It was exactly what I was looking for this weekend - no wifi, no mobile, no other people. Just me, a book, my yoga mat & a fireplace….plus a bathtub overlooking the most incredible private creek and forest. Just stunning! So much love and workmanship has gone into this very special space and I am grateful I had the opportunity to stay here.

Nice comfortable house to base our family for some bush-walks. Jacqui was easy to deal with and provided information about the local area and trails in the house.

Absolutely loved our stay. Daniel and his family were very friendly and welcoming. The place is extremely clean. The bed is super comfortable. They even had some food available for breakfast. Funky, but comfy peaceful spot, Kerrie was lovely woman, left us alone but was there when needed. Different, unique, not your "laminated" environment. Fairly eco friendly. Very nurturing. Would stay again.

we loved our stay at the old shop, it gave the perfect cozy feel with so many nooks to read in which was a big bonus for us! let me tell you the bed is the most comfortable bed i’ve ever slept in! so many beautiful spots in driving distance too ⟡
