Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Tunkhannock Township

Scott’s communication was great. Having a second fridge and a well stocked kitchen was great, and we made good use of the hot tub & fire pit. First night hot water didn’t work, plumber was there to fix w/in 30 mins! Few issues: the house is a bit dingy and needs to be repainted badly. Rather than replace the tile on the shower floor, they decided to paint over the tiles, now the paint is peeling, and it is pretty gross. People used upstairs bathrooms to shower instead. I also heard that multiple people moved to bunk beds because the larger mattresses were so worn in and saggy. I slept in one of the garage bedrooms and the heating panel wouldn’t turn on- I didn’t realize this until our last night since it was a temperate weekend, but I’m sure Scott would’ve sent someone to help. LOTS of checkout instructions, which you hardly ever see nowadays. Sheets felt plasticky and cheap, like 100% polyester. For the price, it’s a fine place, but there were a few issues that could be address

Carey’s place was absolute perfect for a larger group! There are plenty of beds and was roomy enough for all of us to spread out. We enjoyed using the hot tub and game room. The driveway also offers plenty of parking. This location is a very convenient 5 minute drive away from Pocono Raceway as well. Carey was extremely responsive in assisting us with navigating the hot tub settings! Would definitely recommend Carey’s place, especially if traveling with a larger group.

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

Wonderful place to stay for a girls trip. Loved the choices of hot tub, sauna, and pool! Easy drive to Jim Thorpe for a day trip too!

Beth's place was exactly what was advertised - and what we needed - peaceful and relaxing! The cabin is tastefully decorated, and had everything needed to enjoy our weekend away. The community of Locust Lake is cute and quiet, and is great for taking walks with your family (which included our two dogs). We were so happy that the weather was cool enough to use the wood burning stove all weekend! The bathroom and kitchen had all that we needed when it came to basics of hygiene and easy cooking, and the bed was comfortable for some well earned sleep. We really appreciated the dog blankets as well, since our pups are keen on being right next to us 100% of the time.

Would recommend Patricia’s highly. Very comfortable, beautiful location with mountain views and walking distance to everything in town.

A Perfect Stay! Deane’s apartment was absolutely perfect. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The beds were very comfortable, and she added such thoughtful touches, like snacks, bottled water, and even chocolates on each bed, just like in a hotel. The space is quiet, welcoming, and located in a clean, peaceful area with a few restaurants nearby. The apartment had everything we could possibly need, they really thought of every detail. One thing to note (not a problem for us, but worth mentioning): you do have to go up two full flights of stairs to access the apartment, which might be a consideration for some. I would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our stay here!! We were in Jim Thorpe for a concert at Penn's Peak and took advantage of the town. We did the Wine and Suds Tour with the Jim Thorpe Trolley and had a blast. we also were able to walk about a block to a brewery and a bar/restaurant. Stephen's place was perfect for what we needed.

A very comfortable home with ample outside space. We were there for our sisters memorial so I don't have fun stories about things we did but my brothers and I were able to be together and there was so much room to host her family and our cousins for meals. To have 4 bedrooms for 6 adults at the rate we paid was very helpful to our budget. Thank you for that

The home was absolutely amazing—truly even better than the pictures. The photos don’t do it justice. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the clear directions and easy check-in to the beautiful space itself. The host was very friendly and highly communicative throughout. I honestly wish we could build a place like this in the future. This has been the best Airbnb I’ve booked since I started using the platform back in 2010. You will love this place—highly recommended!

Our group had an amazing time here. Kevin was very responsive and helpful and had great recommendations for hiking and kayaking. It is a beautiful home with plenty of amenities and things to do.

We would return without a second thought. Before we arrived, the host was very quick to respond to our questions. Friendly communication from deposit to check out. 4 couples celebrating milestone birthdays. The house was very clean and easy to access. The first things we noticed were the updates to the house. The dining table was large and comfortable for 8 adults. The living room had a large sectional sofa perfect for gathering. Each bedroom had also been updated. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and nice linens. We were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the game room and movie theater! 6 large recliners and comfy floor seating made us feel like we had a night out, without going out. The backyard had a large fire ring and new chairs, but we did not take advantage of them. We did use the large propane grill and hot tub, both were in excellent condition. The kitchen was well appointed and the large fridge was great as we ate in for all meals.

Our hosts met us when we checked in and gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. The place is beautiful and has everything you would need. Ross and Valerie have thought of everything for guests to have the best stay possible. We celebrated my husband's birthday with 8 other friends, they all thought the place was magnificent. The kitchen and bathrooms are all equipped with everything you would need. We totally enjoyed our time there and will definitely return.

Henry’s home was a great experience. The inside is very spacious and beautifully decorated. There are lots of games to play and tvs in most rooms to watch your favorite show. The pool was a little small but still very fun and the hot tub was great. The sauna was very steamy and enjoyable.

My group of 12 has an amazing weekend here. The house was clean, was easy to find and the host rads is very quick to respond and helpful. The hot tub was great and there were many great hikes within ten minutes from the house. We had a great time!

This place was beautiful! Soooo many amenities, space, and had everything we needed plus more! Everything was so clean and labeled with clear instructions. The Hot tub, movie room, and blackstone grill with the outdoor fire place made for great bonding and relaxation for our group. Every part of the house had great details. The Sonos speaker and led lights created the perfect vibe! Craig was very helpful and accommodating! I have been recommending this place to other friends and family already! Will be posting a full review on TikTok. I loved this Airbnb and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything Craig!
