Alpine Garden Chalet is a fantastic place for holiday both adults and kids alike. The house is very tidy and clean. The kitchen is fully functional and well stocked. Everything needed for your cooking without to bring your own. The bathrooms and toilets are also clean and fully stocked. Bedrooms are roomy, cosy and romantic. The family and game room is attractive to both kids and adults alike. You will feel like to play and to rest there. The big lake nearby is wonderful for kayaking and fishing, four wheel adventure and swimming. But we did not have any luck with fishing. Going around and making friend to kangaroos and wombats is a must. Thank you so much Traybee for hosting us.

We were a group of 7 though property is quite big for around 14 people It has got amazing views and property itself is just beautiful and kept very clean and nice We all had fun 🤩 will definitely be back soon Host is super amazing, very friendly and easily approachable, also provides us with flexible check in/ check out Overall great experience, highly recommended 😊

I had a truly fantastic stay with Ron and Sarah. The cottage itself was just incredible, built by Ron, and his work is amazing. Everything you would need as a guest is there; fully equipped kitchen, plenty of relaxing space, comfy bed and I think the fact it even has aircon is incredible. Plenty of windows as well, with bug screens so you can get a nice airflow through. Unbelievable views all round the property, the veranda out the back is an amazing place to sit with a cold beer after a day out and about! I cannot speak highly enough of Ron as a host. Absolutely incredible gent, so welcoming and friendly to chat with. He gave me so many fantastic recommendations to do in the local area and lent me a bike to do an incredible cycle in the local area. Nothing was too much and he would always be lovely and chatty when I saw him around the property. I wish I could have stayed for more than just 2 nights and would definitely love to return again!

Very comfortable and clean property. Ideal for our group of 3 couples. A good base to explore the local region around Tumut.

Carolyn and Malcolm’s place is cosy and lovely. From the views to the well equiped homely house we had an amazing few days there. The house was well set up and we felt comfortable from the moment we stepped through the door. Easy check-in. Was more than we expected, surrounded by wildlife. Had a great break being surrounded by the mountains, even managed to catch a fish. The kids didn’t miss having wifi, and said they would come back in heartbeat. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

Had a wonderful, peaceful stay at the cottage. Took my dog along for a quiet long weekend escape to unplug. I especially loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and sitting on the verandah watching all the birds in the evening. Sally was very welcoming and her lumberjack cake was divine!

We had a very comfortable stay with our 2 teens and dog. The location was excellent- short walk to shops and cafes. Thanks David.

This is a great remote location where you can feel alone. Somewhat rustic and well worn but loveable in an emotive sense. Good space and whilst weather dependant ( for walks etc) peaceful and relaxing.

Stayed here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Beautiful, peaceful and the river was great to sit by with a rod and a few drinks
